Once you damage it enough til it explodes into smaller slime you have to be quick and kill all the small slimes before it fuses back together.
Hi guys!!! Bought the game just yesterday and i am loving it. Anyone can help me please with two questions? 1) should i be careful with what classes i decide to choose? I mean is it good to train 3-4 classes at the same time? Or 1-2? 2) secondly is it normal that i am lvl 6 and i play at a level 5 territory and i lose fairly easy? Thanks in advance!!!!
1 - Doesn't matter much. Just try to play classes that have a synergy (IE : Strength classes, Dex classes, Int classes...) 2 - Yeah, depending on what you're playing, it can be a bit hard at low levels. Things will go better later on. You can improve things by getting trinkets that increase your health regeneration or grant you %life leech on your attacks.
getting bored... 2hr+... +_+ time to change build to kill faster instead of keeping alive to go further...
For some bosses it's useful to bring different skills than you would run a dungeon with. This is one of those bosses. Ki Blast and Radiance are really good here as they both knock down all of the small slimes it splits into giving you more time to destroy them. They stay damaged if it reforms and rebreaks, so keep at it. Also, if you equip 2 life regen trinkets, the big slime is pretty easy to avoid, so between those and a life regen skill (the bard's Song of Vigor or the monk's Spirit Trance) you can go for a long battle strategy and just kite it while you heal (but again, don't forget to destroy those little slimes it splits into as that's what you have to do to win).
That must be over 400+ waves. I got bored at wave 300 and gave up, kudos to you for having the dedication to keep going. What level are you, and what's the build?
OK, I'm on my third start-from-scratch character, it's a Paladin/Warrior/Barbarian (in that order).... Anyone got any ideas on how to increase damage? Only level 16 with 74 ATT, using a colossal weapon with Barbarian's Whirlwind or Paladin's Wrath along with Power Infusion and Aura of Light, plus Power Attack and Divine Hammer for damage... It's not enough to kill most things, I can barely make it to wave 10 in the arena so levelling up is very slow.
You can get them from the city merchant or the necromancer fortress in the northwest desert. I can also confirm that I got one from a normal mob drop in the northern chaos tower on my way to the boss after I spent half an hour trying to get them to appear in the store lol.
Man, I wish the Barbarian build can get some love in an update. I love the idea of a char stomping around with an over-sized weapon swinging, hacking and overall destroying whatever in his or hers path. Sadly, my level 70 Barbarian just isn't doing enough damage. I've rotated from dual wield legendary axes to legendary colossal weapons. From what I've seen the damage from the beautiful giant weapons just is too little and too slow. Could be my particular build but my char just doesn't cut it (no pun intended...or maybe)..
Thanks for sharing friend. What does the rest of your build look like ? Did you go Mage ? I think i found the ultimate build. What is the fastest people are able to get through 20 waves in the arena ? I can do it in about 5 minutes... Statless. I want to post a video of it I just need to find a program that will let me record on my iPad.
Here's my Barbarian. Looks bad-a$$, but that's about it. Those colossal weapons needs to hit for a ton more than what they are now...especially with a character with high strength.
Would love to get my hands on one. Somebody confirmed to have gotten it with 99 kills in the arena so it is possible. Might be worthwhile to farm the arena in the 17-20 wave range in hopes of landing the trinket. How many runs of the boss did it take you to get it ?
Yeah theres about 6 baby slimes that appear once he blows up. You'll have to kill them one by one and eventually there will be one left.
I had no idea they existed until it turned up. Musts had it in my inventory for awhile and one day clicked on it to see the stats and was nicely surprised. I think the first one dropped early like after 2-3 kills. Could've been luck. Had to fight a bit to get him to drop the match.
