Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated (Please and thanks) I am unable to do better than ~60 enemies in the colosseum but am able to beat all three crystal guardians. Any recommendations for the final boss would also be greatly appreciated. Please and thanks.
For me, Shawndumas, my suggestion would be more single enemy damaging active skills (Twin strikes, Blade rush, etc.). As quick as possible, hit him with the ninja skill that causes bleeding (forgot the name). From there try and cause as much single enemy damage w/ the above skills until he teleports away and brings in the skeleton minions. Kill them quickly, mages first, any archers next then melee. After they're done try and get to the middle of the floor so you'll have space to move around by the time he re-appears and does his one-hit kill technique.
The skill is Lacerate. The big thing to do is keep an eye out for the one-hit kill attack (glowing blue circle). If you're in the circle when it goes off you're done. He always does it when he reappears after summoning minions, but he also sometimes does it at other times. There's nothing quite as frustrating as having him down to a sliver then blinking and getting caught in that. As long as you are doing damage, and can destroy the mage minion quickly (because it can heal him) you will eventually beat the boss - unless you get hit with that one hit kill technique. Single target damage techniques are not necessary (I beat him with a lv 28 Barbarian using only Whirlwind, Savage Pounce and the Battlemage Fire Sword Spin attack as my only attack skills - I had Reckless Blow on my bar, but only used it to quickly kill the summoned mages).
By "cheap build" I assume you just mean using Impending Doom. Seems to me there's a lot of cheap builds, so long as you use that passive. Or do you mean a more specific build?
thanks guys (both of you) have I made a terrible mistake allocating out my level-up points? I fear that I've borked my build by making a jack of all trades...
You cannot bork a build! That is the beauty of this game. If you want more stat points just keep leveling up! Everybody's first toon is a jack of all trades as you will need to be in order to unlock all of the skills. I suggest picking up the Bard's passive "Generalist" which reduces the cost of all skills by 30%. Once you have all of the skills unlocked you can start a NG+( you start at level 1 but you keep all of your skills) and specialize in whatever you want or keep playing your main toon..
First, I didn't come up with this build, but I don't remember where I first read it. I just modified the build to fit my needs. Second, I don't have my iPad with me at the moment, but the build is pretty simple, and I'll also add a bit about how you can make it suit your needs. With the exception of Premeditate and Last Stand, everything else in the build is optional to a certain degree. With this build, you are literally unkillable unless you make a mistake by tapping the wrong button (and even that has a workaround). Active: Premeditate (Ranger) Last Stand (Barbarian) Frenzy (Barbarian) Song of Inspiration (Bard) Passive: Impending Doom (Ninja) Favored Soul (Bard) Student of the Mind (Wizard) Equipment: 2 trinkets with 20% cooldown (Almanac of some sort, it's a black book) Monk robe that has 10% cooldown (optional; I prefer to just use the Legendary armor that has 5% crit and 50% crit dmg) Tactics: The point of the build is simple: get your cooldown to be around 1.5. I say "around 1.5" because the whole thing really depends on how good your reflexes are, and what you want to do with your build. It's possible to get it as much as 1.65. You need the cooldown to be fast so that Last Stand will last longer than the cooldown for Premeditate, so that you can spam it and be ALWAYS invincible. If your reflex isn't good, you can basically get Premeditate to regenerate a maximum of every 5.25 seconds (shorter if Frenzy is active, and even shorter if you trigger Impending Doom), while your Last Stand lasts for 10 seconds (8 seconds along with the 2 seconds from Favored Soul). If you accidentally hit Last Stand without using Premeditate first, that's what Song of Inspiration is for, but it's not necessary if you're good enough to not make that mistake. (Song of Inspiration doesn't work on Premeditate, but that's doesn't matter, as you only need for Last Stand). The only thing holding you back from literally being able to go infinite in arena is that at a certain point your damage will not be able to outdo a wave that has 3 healers. In that post where I said I hit wave 300, I did it without using Radiance and Time Stop. If you use them, I can see it going up way higher (especially if combined with Song of Inspiration), but honestly, I was so bored by wave 300 that I just decided to let the waves end before the game crashed. If you get your crit to 100% (or 50%, and then use the Knight's Victory Banner ability) you can trigger Impending Doom with every attack.
I'm ready to quit this game!!! I must admit I REALLY enjoy this game but I ABSOLUTELY HATE how often it crashes for me when I'm in the Colosseum. Spending over an hour battling mobs only to have the game crash and all my xp, my legendary item and time be for not is really putting me off of this game. I get that I can stop after 100 enemies and get my legendary item but it's the xp that I'm after. I'm also aware that I should be "thankful" its not happening after killing 1,000+ enemies. Has anyone else had this issue? (Sorry I've been unable to read through the 260+ pages) Any suggestions how to fix it? iOS 7.1.1 iPad Mini
Yeah many people are reporting crashes when reaching high waves. I am sure MikaMobile is looking for a fix, but what much can they do? I am pretty sure its the devices fualt not the game. Hopefully I am wrong though Also for the people who just bought the game or are looking to buy the game: Heres a map I made rlly quick. Took a couple of screen shots and blended them together. It has the level ranges on it For mobile users http://i.imgur.com/RKMPVZq.jpg
Yeah theyre purchasable. Have you checked the necromancer area? Also you can refresh the shops by logging off your character and logging back in
Happens quite often when killing a boss with Apollo Shot (Ranger Skill). The skill hits for a ton and it knocks the enemy down/backwards. So if the boss is up against a wall, table or other barrier you can't walk through when hit with Apollo Shot it pushes him through the barrier and when his body explodes leaving the chest it is out of reach. So, at that point, the only option is to close out the game and start over.
Thanks Oscar… I just ended up farming the boss until they dropped. No luck in the shop but I'll check the necro area should I need them in the future. Thanks again
Last noob question for the day Does anyone know if passive skill Leader (Ranger) stacks with Army of Doom (Necromancer)? Also, do summoned minions ie, skeletons, mummy, pet scale with your own level or are their stats dependent upon your own attributes? Thanks
I would assume that they do stack, considering everything else seems to stack so I don't see why these two wouldn't. Those two skills will make an extremely powerful companion though, so I'm not 100% sure, I am 99% sure As you level up, your companion levels up as well. They also aquire some of your stats. So yeah I guess both.
I had the same experience as both Lickzy and K4rnage...it never crashed when I'm playing on my iPhone 5. But when I play on my iPad mini it does crash. I think the difference of memory and processor speed (hardware) are maybe the cause. iPhone 5 internals are better than the iPad mini. iPad mini retina shouldn't have the crash problem I'd assume.
