Which buffs/debuffs do you use? Also, do you use dual swords, daggers, axes, or hammers (or am I forgetting some other weapon)?
Hey guys a little help plz , Im stuck with the last boss holding the last diamond , Im currently lv 34 with mostly barbarian skill and one monk ki blast , hav anyone beat him ? Can u tell me ur strategy plz tq
I use Power Infusion, Revenge, Frenzy, Smoke Bomb, Wrath, Song of War, Victory Banner, and Flame Weapon as my actives. I use Dual Wield, Grit, Impending Doom, Lethality, Evasion, and Counter-Strike as my passives. I use two Choker of the Red Feasts for my equip and healing 20% of damage done. Swords (dual Witherstrike) as weapons. Between the smoke bomb and evasion, my dodge is pretty good. Counter-strike provides damage every time I dodge, revenge provides damage for those whoe dare attack me, and the rest boost damage and critical strike.
I finally beat the last Boss. I just cast "Radiance" three times in a row to kill his minions and then cast "Shadowstep", "Calamity" and "Slay the Living" to finish off the Boss in a few goes. I had two "Choker of Red Feast " equipped for a total of twenty percent life drain, which replenished my health after killing the mob following me. Thanks
This is really an excellent game. It's easily one of the top three best IOS games I've played. I tip my hat to Mika Mobile and look forward to their next creation.
Strategy is try not to spamming skills without dodging, avoid standing in that blue blast radius(which does insane amount of damage), fight with a rhythm(meaning, dodge for a while, when he stops, engage), and pick up 2 blinks at least for easy gap closer, since this mage teleports a lot.
Dual wield will probably always win out in bare DPS comparisons, the big advantage to using two weapons is more single target DPS than alternatives. Colossal's thing is, while slower, dealing damage in an arc in front of you (so auto-attacks can hit 3-4 enemies if you get them clumped up). I think both lend to different styles over all - especially once you look at the skills that you get access to. Twin Strike and Blade Rush are super good attack skills (Blade Rush + Twin Strike crit builds are a solid way to go far in arena without much effort). On the Colossal hand, Whirlwind is really good for area DPS, Banish gets you a bit of crowd control, Quake is another good area effect, and - if you can build in enough healing to spam it - Reckless Blow is probably the highest single-skill damage potential (at least based on multiplier - and, given that it costs Life, if isn't the highest damage potential then it needs a buff). I think you're really just choosing between two styles of play (quick single target, or a bit slower multi-target). Another thing to consider is that most arena builds I've seen discussed tend to be dual wielding (or are mage builds) - probably because of the awesomeness of Blade Rush. If you want something known to work - go dual. If you want to explore new(er) territory go Colossal.
Sorry if this has been asked: will more charisma stats improve the health of my mummy? Playing a Mage/necro kinda deal and am at the final boss. Not so worried about the final boss but just if overall charisma points help your summoned? Already am using the passive 50% health buff for the summoned. Thanks
You get it wrong. Dual wield is better than colossal in arena for 3 reasons: 1. dagger benefit mostly from DEX, so it gets you 30% dodge rate while building up damage, while colossal weapons receive zero damage growth from DEX investment. 2. The more quickly you attack the more CD reduction you will get from impending doom. 3. Cowl of Red Fang (5%crit, 50%crit damage) requires 20 DEX. while there maybe a fourth, sneak attack requires a dagger, and it is one of the only two skills who provide dodge rate.
This is a very thorough and helpful insight into the game. I decided to try to hit my 1000+ kills using the vanilla build instead of an NG+ build for now, so I've been using dual wield. Instead of Twin Strike, I'm using Shadowstep for the quick jump. My main issue is that when I'm in the 800+ kill range, there are waves where there are 3 healers, and those takes an insane amount of effort to kill, so as much as it sucks to go slower in every aspect of the arena waves, it's near impossible for me to beat those 3 healers if I don't focus on single-target builds. So far I've screwed up three freaking times in the 900+ range. I'm giving it another go right now, and in wave 100 at the moment, so I hope to finally break beyond wave 170+ today. Quick question, if I use dual swords (Witherstrike) for an NG+ character, should I focus on Str or Dex for my main damage?
