I experienced the frustrating app switching dilemma and decided to jailbreak and install auki which let's me reply to texts without leaving the app.. Do it at your own risk but I've had no problems, cool features like this make me feel frustrated that some abuse the freedom given by jail breaking and pirate but this tweak made saved my sanity when playing. Other option is to get to the overworld map before replying or leaving the app which usually saves the game
I think a purchase may indeed affect things unfortunately. Quite frustrating. I fully restart the game to cycle his inventory until the desired item reappears.
That problem with that is when a notification comes in, the notifications bar basically blocks out the top part of the screen, meaning I can't see my HP bar. I kinda miss the rolling banner notifications in IOS6. They were less intrusive that way. At least in ios8, we get actionable notifications, so you should be able to reply to your friend's texts in-game.
I had the same bug. The only option was to close the app and start the dungeon over. Mika said it was a known bug that would be fixed, though. Edit: Oops, I read that too fast. I had a bug where the chest wouldn't open and all the doors were still locked, but no enemies left. Might want to report your bug bc it sounds different.
This, exactly. There's no point in limiting players, some of us limit ourselves in the name of 'fluff' or in-game common sense. I had a Lvl. 50 wizard who could have been nearly invincible had I given him some skills from other classes; but what's the point? Invincibility ruins the game for me, but not for others - so the option should always be there. You don't want people to pay for your game and then get frustrated because they can't get past a certain boss or can't play whichever way they prefer; the game should appeal to both the newcomers and the hardcore players. What's self-explanatory and a great idea for those at Level 80 may not be such for the masses - and keep in mind that it's the masses who pay for this since there's no huge spenders on IAP from hardcore players (and thankfully so. I hope it remains forever free, apart from additional dungeons/stories which I'd happily pay for). For my part, I limit the characters according to some common sense; I'm not a skill or achievement collector. The wizard, for example, started out as a mix of starting trainers and having been impressed by what Chain Lightning did, decided that magic was the way to go. On the way, he met a battlemage and realized that picking up a few of his skills may be useful since he was having constant trouble with other spellcasters. Since the battlemage is a magic user (common denominator) but also an anti-mage, expanding his studies to cover what the battlemage could teach made sense. He ended up as a high level 80-85% wizard, 15-20% battlemage with appropriate skills and equipment. If you take a look at it, it's pretty clear how I made the decisions and why (to make things easier on myself, obviously); but it's also explainable in-game, from the character's point of view. The second character started out as a rogue because she really didn't know better in the beginning; the 'upgrade' path came in the form of a ninja she accidentally met on the road and saved from almost certain death. So you had the individuality of the rogue juxtaposed against the chance at getting a similar but more formalized, ordered, sharper teaching from the Order - she went with the latter. The initial idea was to cover the ninja and take a few paladin skills by maxing STR, but this simply didn't sit well with me since it's too obviously mismatched. In-game, this translated into her deciding to rely on agility, dodging and leaping out of combat when surrounded, utilizing smoke bombs, caltraps, stealth and various forms of trickery to get done what she lacked brute strength for. The general idea for the third character is a poor outcast who stumbled upon a witch and, since he had nothing much to lose anyway and wished to show society in which he was shunned and ridiculed that he was capable of greater deeds, became her pupil. Due to his newly found abilities in taking life and his growing comfort with darker aspects of magic, his sense of inadequacy would gradually evolve into a lust for power and revenge and a more sadistic streak that would later become crowned by the discovery of a far deeper, soul-blackening, irredeemable corruption - necromancy. A fourth one may be a paladin who, sick and tired of worldly life or just disillusioned with his order, went to the East and studied under the monks. Or maybe a horribly stereotypical "Brave Sir Knight" who aspired to join the Paladins and defend the realm. And so on. I did try the NG+ and I think it's a very, very valuable option which I may make use of sometime in the future, but for now, I'm having too much fun doing it this way to want to switch.
Charbone Lair I'm level 30, and I still can't beat Charbone Lair (the top left corner castle). It's supposed to be like a lvl 25 dungeon :/ Currently running a ranger/ninja hybrid as an archer (I'm gonna try to run it as a dual-wielder instead of archer next.), and I have problems when there are two of the big Shrek-looking dudes who take forever to bring down, and it can call up 2 archers every so often. I end up getting overwhelmed. Any tips? I'm one level away from getting Last Stand (barbarian ability), so I THINK I can beat the whole thing next level, but damn. I was hoping I'd be able to beat it without resorting to that.
Hey dont know if this was mentioned but I just got a tombcaller dagger from the boss of north chaos tower. I guess you can get legendaries outside of arena (not counting draconic bulwark). sorry if this was already mentioned!
I also am so much in luv wit th complexity of fun in thiz masterfull heArtwork 7 the update iz phenomenaly superb. ThnX a vermillion
New update is in app store now. Hope it solves most of the bugs so that Mika can concentrate on expanding the contents. Awesome game.. I am lucky enough that I rarely experience any crash..
Hopefully in the next update they fix cloud saves so I can do a NG+ Great job so far taking care of bugs in the game!!
Just checked the updates. Disappointed. Basically it sends a message that Mika feels comfortable at where the game stands. That song+premed fix has already shown us it is not complicated to do some instant tweaks if they are up to it.
They're a small team and they're looking to fix and polish up the game first before releasing dlc. I wouldn't expect them to pump out dlc/patches in a rapid pace. Some bugs are harder to find than others.
I agree with the post above they'll sort out any critical bugs first and it also takes time I presume to create/add missions/more content. The game i thinks been a huge huge hit so i'm sure they're looking to add more t it. But these things do take time ! The game came out 3 weeks ago, i never expected tons of content to be added in an update 3 weeks later. Be patient
