Good game that's going to have to last yet another week until Godfire comes out and we finally! get a game worth buying after another week of nothing!

After spending way too much time with the game, I think there are some decent changes that could be added.

First, it's sort of a shame that most people's goals (and pretty much because the game pushes you to) is go to the Colosseum asap in NG+ mode. I know many people don't, and it is a cool aspect, but it makes you move through the regular game so quick that it loses something.

I'd like to see more uses for gold. Mostly, consumables. I think you should need to refill your potions, maybe 1 gold per level per potion. So, at level 5, if you used them all, it would be 25 gold and at level 20, it would be 100. Something to make money more valuable. I think you could also sell consumables that do all sorts of things like boost defense or cast a spell or other interesting possibilities. Make it so that you can only use one consumable per battle, but it is switchable (especially if you used one) when you are not actively engaged.

I'd like to see some sort of benefit for playing on harder modes. Maybe EXP or gold or slightly better items or something. I get playing for the challenge, but and incentive would be nice as well.

I'd love to also see some challenges to playing the regular game with certain limits implemented. Not that you remove the current method, but an additional one that makes the main game more attractive to play.

It would also be cool to have a mercenaries guild. I really miss the team aspect from the original Battleheart, but paying for a Mercenary or 2 to come fight with you could be interesting and you could pick one of the 12 classes. This would make fighting on the hardest difficulties more fun.

If used during "revenge"? That's a known crash fixed in the next update.

What I'd love to see by now is an option to save at least one build, so you can return to it with the push of a button.
Now that I got all skills, I started to experiment, and swapping skills around frequently feels extremly tedious. Especially if you have one build that works good (e.g. for Colosseum) and use it quite frequently.
3 build "saveslots" would be great, but even one would be a huge improvement.
Bit surprised that noone brought that up during playtesting, or in this thread already.

Well, Moonriver, my level 51 Wiz/Necro/Witch has finally defeated the evil Lich boss and has now retired to an inn of dubious origin in the backstreets of Downtown.
It has been a fun journey and I have become somewhat attached to my character, so I shall take her out of retirement every so often and test her wits once again in the Colosseum. If I can find her....

Now, onwards to my next adventure. A young rogue with delusions of grandeur has been recommended to me.
A rogue who goes by the name of.......well, he hasn't told me actually.
    So, here we go.
    .......

  7. I kept meaning to suggest this. 100% agree. Especially when you're still experimenting.

I'm currently playing a rogue/ninja. The thing I miss is the crowd control, which makes things like the Sealed Cave a real challenge.

If what you mean by crowd control is to damage multiple foes then consider Blade Rush and Ki Blast. If you want something to stop them from ganging up on you then consider Horror and/or Lullaby.

The best form of crowd control, IMO is dealing damage so quickly to the foe that you kill it outright. Dead foes can't attack you, much less deal damage. :p

But yeah, I do find that the ninja can get overwhelmed when surrounded by multiple weaker foes. :p

I am hoping for some sort of content patch focusing on lv10-20 gameplay, perhaps as an IAP or in a future update.

Right now, I find the game is quite self-sufficient all the way up to lv10, but then, levelling areas get quite sparse after that. Right now, getting from lv10 to 11 means doing the cave area 4 times, followed by the sealed cave just as many times.

Many of the areas are quite short and short of enemies, requiring multiple reruns. More areas would help break up the monotony of grinding, IMO. :)

Check out my latest video, LVL 8 ONE SHOT the Final Boss! I improved my play style and skill order for a bit more damage. Though I was lvl 15 after battle in panel, I had 21 stat points unspent, so my char can be considered as lvl 8. Have a look and enjoy the game. Hope this extreme case video can bring inspiration among players:D

What accessories should I put on my wizard/necro/witch character for arena? + spell power, critical or instant cool down?

I play as Palading/Warrior but found cooldown reducing items the best.

Does anyone have some advice on dealing with those "fire blobs" in the later levels? (Lvl26 second crystal castle)

My character is a Rogue/Ninja dual wielding and focus on crit. Burst damage is very nice.
However these blobs explode when they die, which eats huge chunks of HP. :-/
Is there a way to safely kill then as melee? Absorb/reduce the damage? Or do I need a ranged skill for them?

That game was beautiful but there was something about it I didn't like. In the end it is a matter of opinion, but BHL's gameplay blows eveything away imo.

Xeno, I use shurikens with my ninja/rogue setup and it does very good ranged damage if using the crit route.
