I firmly believe this is a glitch that occurred after the first update, if you had freed the necromancer prior to it. She's the quest giver that tells you where students are studying dark magic (i.e. where the Necromancer skull is). Sounds like you freed him before visiting the wizard tower like I did. In the latest update, she no longer has the exclamation point over her head in my game.
I'm playing on normal but the first few level ups have required too much grinding so if that is gonna only get worse I will change down
1. Might be your device. They do recommend 5th gen ipod. 2. Yeah, the encounters are a bit of a nuisance. BUT some are necessary for unlocking certain trainers, so be careful not to dismiss those too easily. For other encounters, I think it used to be easier to just exit, but one of the updates seems to have made it do you have to exit through the other side, past the mobs. Yes, there is a penalty for dying. You lose gold -- I believe 20% of what you have? But you keep any items or XP gained. 3. For the Wyrm, try getting the Bard's Charm skill so you can use it on the smaller Wyrms. Also, try getting a life drain accessory.
It gets a bit less grindy, depending on the class(es) you chose. Some classes are tougher to play in the beginning, but they're powerhouses once they level up and get some more skills.
Does anybody know when the head of the guard at the capital will get the "paperwork"? He said it would "take a few weeks," but I've gained about 15 levels since then. Also, does anybody know when new mercenary contracts will be available? I could only do the first one where you meet the Battlemage.
Finished game at 32lv and 15 hours. Beat last boss on 2nd try. Paladin's ability to heal himself is godlike. Awesome game devs!
OK... Gone through the Arena again and again and I've got 15 items (with duplicates) but not the damn wizard staff I'm trying to find. All the Witherthis and Tombthat are driving me mad, LOL, I have enough Doomplates to outfit the city guard. Can anyone explain what the procedure to properly beat the spider queen is? I've tried with Wizard only spells, I've tried with directly elemental only (fire/frost/lightning), I've even unequipped the staff so I wouldn't auto-shoot at it and then avoided any physical touch so as not to auto-attack (and without using Teleport too), but no matter what I do I get the same result where they say I wasn't using magic. I guess all that lightning and frost and fire was just bad weather, then. I'm at a loss at what to do. This game is so awesome, it's really the best thing I've ever seen on the App Store. I'm buying the first Battleheart now that I've finished my first playthrough of Legacy... I really hope there's going to be more content, paid or unpaid. As for the crashes... 25 hours and Level 44, playing on 4s and haven't had a single crash so far.
I find it helpful to ignore the smaller minions and burn down the Wyrm, drinking potions as necessary.
Can someone explain to me how to get the "Humble Beginnings" achievement? It says "Clear the Goblin Cave for the Eston Guardsman". Isn't that the quest from the guard in Eston that gives you 100 gold for doing it? I've done that 3 times with new characters and no luck.
Can we take this to mean that when something affects "weapon strikes" or "weapon attacks" such as Envenom that it also affects skills that employ your weapon? Both weapons? Ie, if you cast Envenom while using a dagger and a bow, will both weapons gain the buff, and does the buff improved damage of skills that use dagger or bow? Thanks!
I'm focusing on crit damage and using mostly ninja skills. That robe gives +5% Crit Chance and +50% Crit Damage.
Have a level 31 necro/witch/bard build and trying to level up other skills now can't seem to add a secondary weapon now regardless of weapon i choose, any reason why?
You need passive skills to equip secondary weapon. One of the passives from Knight class allows you to wear a shield, Ranger's allows you to equip a bow and Ninja's allows you to dual-wield two 1-handed weapon. If you equip colossal, staff or fist weapon then you can't equipped anything in you off-hand as they are considered 2-handed weapon. Hope it helps.
At some point you probably should have had a random encounter on the map involving a ninja. I haven't done it that way yet, but I'm guessing you sided against the ninja and therefore wouldn't get that invite.
Can't believe I missed this the first time Can't believe I missed this game the first time, excellent RPG action, worth the $4.99 price
