I managed to do it with my magic user (but it was hard not using any Necro skills) but no idea how you do it with another class. My rogue/ninja failed. The reward is just a ring you can buy in the shop. No big deal.
I'm stuck at level 13 I have a Ranger/Rogue and I can't find any quests. I'm really not one for grinding over and over so perhaps already this game has come to an end for me. ..unless I'm missing quests from somewhere.
I don't know. I just can't seem to kill him before he kills me. Using all my stuff as much as I can, I'm avoiding the one hit kill bubble thing. I just always run out of health before he does. I'm hitting 102 with 68 on my shield. Hardly any spell power since I'm not using those skills. I'm kinda out of ideas. I've tried a handful of setups with no luck.
I beat him at level 29, didn't do it with the knight as I usually play ranged characters in rpgs. My setup is: Active - Wandering Plague - Everlasting poison Chain Lightning - Hits multiple targets Meteor - Explosion plus fire area damage Glacial Spike - Piercing ice blast Drain Life - Heal damage to the amount dealt Thunderbolt - Deals area damage, knocks down enemies Raise Skeleton Summon Mummy Passive- Staffmaster Wild Magic - Increase crit strike on all spells by 10% Army of Doom - Increase minion hp by 50% Elementalist - Increase fire, frost, lightning damage by 10% Mass Descruction -Increase damage of area effects by 10% Student of the Mind - Reduce cooldown time by 15% My spell crit chance is at 38%, which means close to every other spell is a crit. Also have 25% instant cooldown chance from gear. Gear: Abyss Robes of the Shadowmancer - +5% crit, +10% instant cooldown chance. Azamoth's Cursed Eyeball - 15% instant cooldown chance. Leviathan Scale - +8 spell power, +10% crit. Main things to consider in that fight in my opinion is do you have any way to heal besides potions, do you have any abilities that leave damage over time this way the boss continues to take damage while you are moving, and do you have decent crowd control abilities for his summoned minions? The fight does not have to end quickly, I would continue to move out of his whirlwind attacks, and be mindful of when he respawns and does his massive shield explosion which happens usually when you are close to killing his minions. So just be ready and move.
Thanks for the help! I've been leveling up as a battlemage and I think some of those skills will help. I'll give it another go here soon.
Melee characters are usually reliant on damage resistance, and health regen, so I would look for those skills/gear, and don't neglect instant CD chance, as it has always been a killer stat in the Battleheart universe. I haven't looked at any of the melee skills yet besides rogue, so I am not sure what other combos you could use, but the two things I mentioned is what I would be looking for regardless.
I just got this game and I'm loving it, but I still have $20 on the App Store and was looking for some suggestions. I already have Wayward Souls. I am kind of interested in Dragon Quest VIII. Any suggestions or impressions?
I'm having the exact problem you are having. I'm a level 13 Battlemage, and I can't find any quests. There are no bounties or anything.
These are my top iOS picks Bastion Pocket Rpg Solomon's Keep Final Fantasy Tactics Rayman Fiesta Run Game Dev Story Battleheart + Battleheart Legacy Phoenix Wright Dungeon Quest Ghost Trick Xcom and Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light but stupid Squarenix won't update the game so I would avoid that one.
Found a useful walkthru for those haven't finish the game http://www.appunwrapper.com/2014/06/03/battleheart-legacy-world-map-npc-locations-and-quests-by-level/
The RPG's i have on my device right (besides Legacy and Wayward) now are Oceanhorn ($8.99) Star Wars KOTOR ($9.99) GTA: SA ($6.99) Deus Ex (free)
So I beat the game, watched the credits, got the last character encounter (don't want to spoil), it said I'd have a new game plus and test my skills in the arena, etc. So I went back to the map and it is still saying I need to complete the final battle (the explanation point is still there) is this right or did my game not save? EDIT: It must have saved because I still have the items I won. Also, anyone else having trouble getting the "humble beginnings" achievement to pop?
Yup, that's what supposed to happen. After you defeat the final boss for the first time in that particular save file, you will see a scene and credit ended with the note about new game plus, bla x3 Then if you load that save file you got back to the time before you defeated the final boss but you will keep your exp, loot, etc. You then can continue on that save file, keep levelling up or do whatever you want or create a new game+. The later is done from the main menu, click on your char and select new game + icon. It will create a duplicate so don't worry about losing that save file. Sorry for the lengthy explanation, hope it help
Unfortunately I don't have an iPad so I can't buy Frozen Synapse or FTL (Although I have FTL on my computer and I love it). However, I've had my eye on Out There for a while, and I think I'll give it a purchase. Even if I don't like it, I will be supporting a good developer. Thanks for the help!
