some lingering issues, but I've only really noticed problems with my summons causing crashes when I'm in the arena trying to summon 5 skeletons at the same time that a green cyclops is trying to summon his own reinforcements. Basically, it's nothing that should prevent you from playing.
It was mentioned earlier in this thread, but when you kill the golem the first time, a GameCenter achievement hides the fact that you got the Living Ore. So you only needed to kill him once. I would consider it a bug that the capital doesn't spark on the world map at that point. Also, I don't think that completing the quest immediately unlocks a weapon for your class, but rather unlocks a higher tier of available gear in general. You'll just have to keep checking his wares when you're in town to find what you want.
I second that. BHL could and should be in the same price bracket as e.g. X-Com or Warhammer Quest. Say your daily thanks to the Mika team that they only want a pittance for a good game.
Tried babarian+knight+paladin. But the coloseal weapon didn't quite put out the damage i hoped. Then Found a sweet combo with adding ninja for twin swords, at lvl 22 im doing: Actives: charm, intimidate, smokebomb for cc/buy time All the rest (5) filled up with +%dam (eg frenzy and wrath. + auro of light (25% heal of damage given) Passives: Dam + wep power + crit Gear: Auto attack speed Gameplay: Run into the middle, pop smoke, pop all the +dam abilities - then lean back and see the dam roll in from auto attacks. Each hit is like 100-150 +crit *3 because if the wrath-chain-lightning * 4-6 hits per second =almost no downtime and are at full health at most times. I do lvl 25-28 areas without using pits, 100-120 in the arena, but cant kill the golem or the firewielding bos yet
He wont give you something right away, but you should notice he has new equipment every time you visit him after. I think someone even said he had legendary gear for sale once in their game, but i haven't seen any. I would keep checking every so often.
I just did this the other day. He doesn't actually drop any ore. Just kill him once and then go talk to the Blacksmith.
Check my post above I dont use it normally, as the 500-900 dam it yields im doing in 1 sec with auto attacks antways. But for bosses, its pretty god
totally agree. I think if they add more story/content they should charge something. They are always incredibly reasonable. I would also love to see multiplayer questing in the future too. Perhaps a new game like Battleheart Online or something. Even so, top iOS game as it stands.
Haha, I've finished the game with my Wizard/Witch (I was stupid, and killed the necromancer, so couldn't get it's skills), and I have to say that the ending wasn't bad at all. Okay, nothing epic, but it works. I would also pay for more content, this game could evolve into the best handheld ARPG out there. It's pretty damn close.
Completed a few days ago and unlocked all the skills, just started the + game and did think of going melee to try different but gone with my spell caster again. Melee does seem interesting but I've always played caster and figured on this playthrough I'll just pump up int and endurance and ignore charisma, dex and str because I won't really need those now I have the skills.
Love the game! Honestly, I feel it is probably better than the first one for me! The game is not without it's issues though... I've had numerous crashes and a loss of unspent skill points already so it seems the game is nt without its kinks. Currently playing on iPad 3, iOS 7.1, and the colosseum crashes the most frequent, as most times when I try to restart a failed attempt the game will crash. I've also had some random crashes in various dungeons. The biggest issue for me would be that I lost unspent skill point. I left the points to spend for the next level up, died in a dungeon, retried it and beat it, leveled up, and when I went to spend my skills I only had the 3 points that you get per level to spend instead of 4 (3 for leveling up and the 1 unspent point from the previous level. This happened to me when I was around level 12 and I have not tries to test if I can reproduce the problem, as I'd really like to not gamble with my progress, LOL!
Thought it might be helpful to tell of a build here...i found that, if you go for a hardcore crit chance build with dodge bonuses as well, and then make sure you have the passive Ninja skill which reduces cooldowns from crits, you can use a variety of attacks that hit many times (shuriken, blizzard, soul mass, etc.) then you can cause your abilities to cool down very quickly, especially those with short cooldowns. Just a few minutes ago, using this strategy, i made a build focusing on using Premeditate(Ranger skill 11) and then Radiance(Paladin skill 13) but not using radiance twice, in the Colosseum. Radiance hits everything and knocks them all down, and has the potential for several crits, and i have Blizzard and Soul Mass to assist with that. I also have Smoke Bomb(Ninja) for dodging and Aegis(Battlemage) for a damage buffer (after around 80 enemies killed, you will probably die in 3 or 4 direct hits). The other skills can be anything for healing and damage. Well with this setup, you can simply use Premeditate and then immediately Radiance, all enemies are knocked down and damaged, and you use soul mass and blizzard and...by the time you finishing using those, Premeditate is probably ready again. Because of the sheer number of hits, and at least a 30% crit chance (could get a lot more) Premeditate ends up being ready in about 5-6 seconds instead of 15, and then you can use it with Radiance again. Now, i just used this to kill 274 enemies in the Colosseum. I actually only lost because i stopped paying attention for a moment and my shield broke (i was killed in 2 hits, in under a second, no time to even use a potion after the first) but i am certain i could go much farther with this. Still, as i said before, it really revolves around premeditate and radiance, and you could go for a melee build instead, and use a variety of attacks and skills. I might try going solely for critical hits, to see how quickly i can regain Premeditate. Also, quick tip for getting skills: go hardcore for the bard for a long time because his 12th skill is a passive that reduces stat requirements for skill learning by 30%. This means that something that requires 30 strength requires 21 instead, or so i think. It would save a lot of levels for anybody going after more than one class, and it seems like the best combinations require the skills of 3 or 4 classes.
I've loved every minute of this all week and I'm now at level 21 but I'm just getting a little bit bored of grinding at the moment. I seem to be really struggling to do any level over about 17, let alone the 20's..... I was quite enjoying the grinding but I don't seem to be getting any new loot and I can't complete the blacksmiths mission because the one that unlocks it is too hard for me! I'm well aware that this could be my fault for spreading my skills too wide in the early game but I just kept adding cool skills that I liked, so I've ended up ranger/necro/bard/bit of everything else. Mind you I've played nothing but this since last Thursday so maybe I just need a break.
