You can't really blame the game for that because it's a player choice. You can only master about 2.5 classes within the intended level range the story is designed for. If people want replay value insofar as restarting with different classes or combos, they already can do that. If someone wants to keep grinding up a character to have all the classes, they can do that too, but they shouldn't turn around and complain that the game allowed them to do that.
Exactly. Why does everyone want this game to be *exactly* like every other RPG? The devs created something different, and it's quite fun. It's not like you can actually *use* every skill at the same time. The customization and finding the right combination of skills that works for each person is what sets this apart from so many other RPGs that limit you. Please stop trying to convince the devs to make it like every other game. Maybe if they want to add an option in the settings, but other than that...this was their vision, and it's great fun as is.
Yeah, I've been watching him more and realized that's how he acts. But he even starts heading to me when I cast a spell...he'll just stop attacking and head towards me, then back to the enemy once my spell is cast. It's really strange. I have the wolf on my other character, and I did notice if I get too far from any enemies, I lose the selection and he'll come towards me. But I only noticed this when I was playing Ominous Pasture. Haven't noticed it any other time. Also, the wolf moves quickly. The mummy is so slow, that if he follows me, it's especially noticeable and takes him longer to get back to business.
Hi Everybody, I am at level 22 now, and at one point the smithy in the capital told me that he could no longer make better weapons with what he had. But "in the northwest of the city" there supposedly is some better ore or something again that I should find. I've been to and played every location multiple times, except for the last tower (level 28), but I can't find anything? Where can I find this ore or whatever? Thanks!
The last 2 I feel would make the next playthrough pretty boring due to overwhelming ease, but wow, I really dig that first bullet. Maybe a 5% experience gain per playthrough? Good idea. Provides more incentive to start over and gain more skills. Veto
At the tent left of the Ninja site, I have "Midnight Canyon" and "Ancient Relic Site", buth finished with a green checkmark. Did I miss something? I am going to play the second one again right now ...
Found a bug, not sure if it has been posted. Power Attack and Divine Hammer have the same requirement of melee weapon, but only Power Attack works with pugilist tape.
Just killed the Golem three more times. When he dies, he leaves a chest. In it was first a pendant, then a bow and the third time a sword. No ore in sight and no other locations from there? I currently have the Sceptre of Just, is there a more powerful staff or did I somehow miss that I already got the last one?
Spoiler The golem boss at Ancient Relic Site should drop it. Did you go back to him to see if you can complete the quest?
Are you on the most current version of the game? If not it may be a previous bug. If you accepted the quest, he should drop the ore and then you can also get an item from the chest.
It's too bad that one person doesn't like the game, but I don't think strenuous arguments are needed to justify how great it is. The length of this thread is testament enough. As for it being easy, apparently I stink at it or something. I'm playing Wizard with a tiny dash of Witch, Barbarian, and Battlemage and it is hard. Level 26, just getting through dungeons at my level, and have an arena record of...7 kills. I think once I'm done with this character I'll start a totally new one. Maybe a Ranger/Rogue...
I think Mage has a hard time early on even after branching into the witch tree. If you go down the necromancer path though (which is a natural progression due to the Int requirements) its a bit easier with summons. At least it was for me Rogue/Ninja seems to be another popular avenue. Ive heard Ranger can be tough too.
Anyone experiencing crashes? The game seems to crash when I meet two specific requirements: - Dropped loot is a weapon. - I face a mob of 3 or more immediately after. Doesn't happen if it's anything but a weapon. Weird and frustrating. Other than that the game is perfect!
Alright, after killing the Golem one more time, I went to the Smithy again. He had no exclamatoon mark, but when I talked to him I suddendly had what I needed. He did not offer any new staff though. Also finished the first quest at the final tower in the nord. Get killed in the second quest every time sadly, so off to the arena to level up ;-) Thanks for you help !!!
You sure he didn't have a new staff for you! I got a cool snake staff after giving him the ores.. I now look like Jafar.
