Hey Shatner, man you need to calm down. Mika's only like a 3 man team and they have been working their asses off to make sure the game runs good for everyone, just have some patiance, it's not the end of the world.
Hmm... This thread has taken an odd turn. Yea, game not perfect... Wish Zombieville would get multitasking... Mika Mobile is small firm of three guys... Won't get my wish. It is what it is. Yea, mainstream consumers if iPhone apps don't care... Just want what they want. Understood. Just 3 guys so won't happen... Ok. Battleheart not perfect... ...yea, but still on my device and great fun. $2.99 spent, having great fun. Good app, no regrets. My $.02.
The thread didn't take a turn anywhere. Everyone (+-1) still says it's a great game ---------- I have a not so optimum party of Cleric, Monk, Knight, Bard I'm on the third map, and my 4th hour. I hope I don't struggle at later maps. My damage output seems pretty low at this point.
Kinda slow to be honest, I've actually been catching up on "life stuff" a little in the past couple weeks which has taken a bite out of my productivity. Paying taxes, having a contractor remodel a bathroom, might be having surgery on my foot... all kinds of fun stuff. He's still coming along though, hopefully I can share some video of him in the near future.
I've been reading TA for a long, long, time. And that's the first time I've seen somebody post an open-verse poem.
Thanks for this great game. Had a blast with it! A suggestion, maybe someone already mentioned it: what about giving the heroes a bit more character while they are fighting for king and country? Not so much in a background story, but more spice up the main event. They already look great, cute and move with flair. But they are rather silent. They would come a bit more to life if they reacted emotional to the things happening around them. Think of the epic one-liners of Baldur's Gate, e.g. -Go for the eyes Boo, GO FOR THE EYES!! RrraaaAAGHGHH!!! -Less talk, more fight! -You point, I punch. Text-balloons in stead of audio maybe more appropriate on a mobile device and might fit the theme better. These emotional reactions should be sparse, otherwise they get boring quickly. In BG terms: When a barbarian is about to die: a semitransparent balloon pops up over his head with: "I need aid soon, lest my hamster become an orphan." When he just killed the monster:"Every hamster has his day!". When the party is waiting for the next wave: "Camaraderie, adventure, and steel on steel. The stuff of legends! Right Boo?" You get the idea. Thanks again! F
You clearly state you stuck on boar level after 5 tries and delete the app cause of game's "Ridiculous difficulty level". Then state your still stuck after another 5 attempts but app crashes on the 10th attempt. Your very inconsistent with what you say and it is not surprising what people will end up saying. The levels leading upto and including boar level are quite basic and slow paced. You do not need to do any "level grinding" to beat the boss at all. The boss level takes longer, but his abilities are simple to understand and easily avoided ie move characters away from bombs. Bombs don't even do more than 1/4 health damage anyway. As for game crash - it's common for apps to crash when user is over zealous with headbutting their devices. Clearly after however many attempts you claimed you done - this game is just too fast paced for you.
New battleheart brag thread I have opened a new thread used solely for bragging! http://forums.toucharcade.com/showthread.php?t=86373&highlight=Battleheart+brag+thread There is the link...Have fun!!!!!!!!
I'm 11 years old. Would you call me a kid or a tween? I killed the last boss, have all my guys to lvl 50, and obtained more than 10 tier 9 weapons. (Sorry shoulda did that in the brag thread.)
OH! I was utterly frustrated by this Batleheart! Someone posted a new bragging thread, uh, those guys are bragging. But I feel heartbroken
Just managed to finish the game at level 29 for my knight. Others were at level 27/28: bard, cleric and witch. Awesome game
You don't say? First comment: not really. Like you said, 87 pages and you're kind of the first to complain about difficulty. It's an RPG, getting creamed by a boss and grinding a bit are part of the package. Besides, it's not like the rest of us are multi-tentacled robots. In other words: the game's difficulty is ok; you're the one who sucks at it. Please note: I'm not poking fun or anything. There are other games everyone thought were fine and I was terrible at them. It happens, it's just not for you. Second comment: bugs in this game have by and large been eradicated, as reports slowed to a trickle. There are probably a couple rare ones left and I'm sorry you had to find out the hard way. Still, flipping out at one crash is a mite excessive. In the days of v1.0.0, plenty of people experienced serious issues, and still they stuck with the game (in response to your "who in their right mind" thing). Third comment: see above: "game this buggy"? And you base this on like one single crash? You must be new to this whole "gaming" thing.
