Hi. I have a stupid question - is there a way to select the targets of the special talents? i.e. the shield or the fireball, it seems like it randomly hits wherever it wants.. How do I target with the talents? Thanks
Hahaha! This has happened to me three times already, I've never thought of reporting it though. Should have thought about that.
Yea I am very aware of this. I just leveled my cleric up enough to acquire this ability but what about the bard? He has no offense so is completely useless by himself. - I just recently started playing EP again yesterday. Still alot of hackers but I don't care. It was actually refreshing and brought back alot of the good 'ol frustration
The fireball attacks whatever the Wizard is already attacking. If it's not attacking, then it'll cast the fireball on the next thing you want it to attack. The shield casts a shield on the knight itself. But if you mean the shield charge, then, like the fireball, it attacks the thing the knight is already attacking.
Something I noticed from the very beginning is that there are no numbers that represent damage being dealt or received. I personally love seeing just how much I am dishing out as well as receiving. It helps me plan accordingly in other RPG type games.
Thank you for replying. Sorry, I meant the shield spell or the power infusion spell from the cleric. Or any other spell where you want to power up your own party.. It seems that the shield targets randomly when I cast it with lucille
I have a solution for being in the arena with a healer ghost and having no one surviving that can do damage. You can't kill or be killed. Solution: Suicide button. In the pause menu you should have a suicide button, when you press it all your surviving characters stab themselves, punch themselves, or shoot fire or dark balls at themselves. Lucille would whack herself with the butt of her staff, and Edwardo would use the strings to tie his neck tight to choke himself.
Bwahahaha! Got a good chuckle upon reading this! Yeah, I'd definitely press that button rather than that Retreat button that doesn't seem to have any use at all at the moment other than a simple "Quit" button. LOL! Pretty funny on the typo too!
New character idea : the druid Hello everybody I really like the game. Perfect rpg for my itouch. I've read here some cool ideas to make the game even better (GC, multiplayer, new charcters, etc..) so I though I could add my contribution. Do you remember a game called "Legend" in good old Atari ST days ? In that game, there was a Druid character that used "ingredients" to generate his magic spells. You could mix for example the ingredients "projectile" + "explosion" + "damage" to create a spell. By mixing only "projectile" + "explosion" you only get a harmless firework, it's the "damage" ingredient that makes the whole spell more intresting ;-) Such a character could be realy intersting in battleheart : you would get very different types of "ingredients" in the skill tree, obliging you to choose between healing or fighting kind of ingredients before the battle. During the battle, instead of "casting & cooldown" like every other characters, the Druid would be continuously preparing his potions (lo-level ingredients = faster than hi-level of course) So you can either keep accumulating ingredients during the battle and combine everything before the end for a mega-cluster**** or just use the ingredients as soon as they are available... woudn't that add a new kind of strategy to the game ?
