First let me say, overall great game!

I am having some rare crashing issues. It seems to happen when a party member dies mid combat, and seems to happen more often for the cleric. This doesn't matter in most situations, but in the arena this was significantly less enjoyable....

Final note: Its nice to read all the specs you've been throwing about, be it attack speed or otherwise. Could you add some sort of in-game manual for us stat crunchers for easy reference? Not even close to an immediate necessity, but somewhere down the road it would be nice. Might also help the new players who are desperately trying to figure out what the bard does.

The bard's power is used to buff the target's power and defense

For the most part yes. I think there are some caveats, and they are mentioned several times by MikaMobile in this thread

Shepherd, The Black Knight, Monk = 3 tank options.

Quoting this again to make sure Mika reads it and implements as much of it as possible. Beautiful graphics and design, but I'm finding the gameplay to be a bit shallow in its current state.

    Hey guys,

awesome game, buy it if you didn't already.

I have had some time in the last 3 weeks to play Battleheart (i am bloody sick in bed), here are my quick remarks:

1: Consumables. I have about 20.000 gold, cannot spend it.

2: Items that have special powers, like boost other spells, or have spell on them etc. Socketed items would be great too =)

3: Maps would be great if there were OBSTACLES, rocks, walls etc. This is a bit boring, all flat and plain.

4: Arenas need complete rework, IMO. As they are now, the only way to "win" them is to die. A bit depressing, no? What I would do is when player gets to 50 kills, a small bronze medal appears in the bottom right corner. Tapping it player can chose an item that would normally drop if all toons died at 50 kills. At 100 kills silver medal, giving better item, at 200 kills Gold medal giving the best possible item line in tha arena. This way there are clear goals to reach, and my little heroes need not die.

One more thing that bothers me in Arenas further is that they kinda finish almost instantly. When you are overpowered you just die in an instant. If you have played Arenas you know what I am talking about. Basically you are unkillable, and then at some point (after 170 kills) next wave just kills you. You cannot deal damage to them since they heal too fast and have too much HP, and one bite from Red kills Warrior instantly. No challenge there. You own own own, then WHACK you die.

5: Player vs. player. This is a no brainer. Some time in the future, I would like to play with my party (or maybe just 3 characters?) vs someone. Own you bigtime =)

And for the end, here is my "I farm Arenas like mad" setup, you might be surprised:

    1 Warrior, 2 Wizards, 1 Bard.

Warrior has 2x Lodestone giving 40% dodge, others have 2x Cursed Eyeball giving 30% no cooldown chance. Wizards cast Timestop. Timestop. Timestop. Timestop. If they go on Cooldown, Bard has a song to reset cooldowns (and he has 2x Eyeball, so his spell can be free as well). Repeat. I managed over 200 kills with this, got some AMAZING items.

Anyways, off to level some heroes, they are only level 45. Meh. =)

    Mika,

I've discovered an extremely frustrating problem. I'm 97 kills into the arena and my DPS character fell. My remaining group is my knight, bard, and cleric. My only opponent is a skeleton cleric. The problem is, I can't damage it fast enough without getting super lucky with special attack crits. That means my only option is to retreat and lose a 97 win session. The result is that I put all this effort for essentially nothing because items don't drop on a retreat.

Please, change this so that a retreat doesn't waste an otherwise good session.

We have a solution for this in the works, sorry about that. It's annoying for sure.

Just thought Id drop in to let you know how you are doing in Ireland. If you get a few more sales youll move into the top 50 apps altogether. You are currently the number 1 RPG. It took a while to rise but you are doing well. I left my review of course :)

Absolutely loving this game so far. Be nice if there was a way to back up save games, I'm paranoid about losing saves in RPGs so I usually have multiple copies.

Gamecenter achievements are a must in a future update I think. Achievements are particularly great in RPGs because of the time investment required, it's another nice little way to be rewarded for the hours and hour you could put into a game like Battleheart.

    Good ideas.

As for the arena strat you mention...is that 200 kills in the Doomvale arena?!? If so, impressive! I never thought to try to abuse time stop to that degree. I love blizzard for arenas, tho. All about the kiting. That said, I've only gotten to 125 kills in Doomvale.

Tho by now, I just farm arenas with a high DPS team. Haven't made a real run in quite a while. Soon, tho!

Here's an alternate solution: those darned enemy clerics can't heal themselves! :)

Just curious, but were you guys inspired by games like Dragon Age? Obviously you can't pause the game, but after playing the Dragon Age 2 demo and fervently hoping for a price drop on the original Origins, I've found Battleheart to be a good substitute to the kind of game I'm looking for.

    Right behind you...
Once I got stuck in the arena with only the cleric still alive, and I was against 2 healer ghosts and I couldn't kill them, they couldn't kill me. I already had a lot of points and I had to retreat and that was so pathetic. I'm not sure what the fix for this would be.

Also, the sound doesn't work like 50% of the time. Playing a silent game is kinda boring. I checked the sound button in the home menu and my device's volume but nothing is coming out. Then I check another app and the sound works. I check back on battleheart and it still doesn't work.

I just beat the game this morning and it was a great game. I'm hoping more content will be added in the future. I'd love to be able to upgrade equipment further, and have some really tough optional areas. I think the game needs to take note from games like Disgaea: Hour of Darkness. I spent way more time doing the extras than the real game. Also I love that idea someone had about a holiday themed Battleheart once in a while (I would definitely buy them.)

I love this game but as stated above by nefretta, on a few occasions i have gotten stuck with just my bard or cleric and 1 or 2 enemy clerics left. Obviously I had to retreat which was a waist of time. They should add a revive spell with a limit of 1 use per level or something.

Also it would be nice to add 2 types of online multiplayer modes. One could be for those who wish to battle others using their party of 4 (or 3? Possibly 2??) and the other could consist of some type of friend online co-op such as 3-4 players having each person choose 1 character. For just 2 players, each person picks 2 characters. Also a system that interprets level range and spawns enemies accordingly would be nice for the online mode. (If online is ever interpreted... *crosses fingers*)

There's a way around this. If you're cleric has the Vengeful angel ability then you can move it next to one of the enemy clerics and then it will damage them. Usuallly this will have enough damage to kill them.

P.S. do you still play EP iceman?
