Just picked up this game and I like it...it is an interesting mix of different rpg elements...the one this that really really needs to be added is how the weapon and armor upgrades are shown...when selecting new weapons/armor it should show clearly how much it will increase/lower that stat. very basic element to rpg's but very necesssary
As far as my knowledge goes all items do in fact stack. It makes a big difference in game play to have one azimoths (sp) eye vs. having both of them so yeah almost all of them stack.
Hi Mika Mobile Team, Battleheart is an incredibly addicting game, and it has certainly kept my interest for hours on end. Congratulations on such a terrific gem! I would love to be involved in beta testing for future updates. Do you have user test groups? How do we get involved? Keep up the great work! And thanks for all the updates, too...I didn't know the game play could be any better. Okay, back to the trenches... DK
All items stack. They also stack with skills/buffs. You can have a 50% crit rate with your rouge I'm pretty sure.
Just encountered a bug I haven't read about on this forum. On the golem boss, when the golem does his special which knocks a character down, if I do a special skill of my own during the knock-down animation when my character goes flying, that character becomes stuck and I cannot attack/move with him/her after he recovers from the knock-down.
Rouge with Crit Hit Here is my team so far: Rouge (Male): level 38 - 2 Ancient Dragon tooths. (+15% critical hit) Rouge (Female): Level 30 - 2 Ancient Dragon tooths. (+15% critical hit) Cleric: level 40 with 2 Codex of Jabe (-6seconds cooldown each) Bard: Level 35 with 2 Codex of Jabe (-6seconds cooldown each) (I also have a level 35 monk too which uses 2 Phasing Lodestones to reduce 40% of damages! I switch this out with a rouge sometimes) Both Rouges have +30% Critcal hit chance + another 20% from passive ability so really they have a 50% chance of dealing double damge. This is way more powerful then the barbarians and pirates! Bard and Cleric each have -12 second cool-down so there heal abilities are ready in 8 seconds. So I can beat the final boss super easy because I like never Die!
For my tank, my items are focusing on evasion, while for my rogue/barbarian, my items are focusing on life-stealing. I'm wondering if I should change my rogue/barbarian items to crit instead of life-stealing, and if I should switch out one evasion item on the tank for a life-stealing?
i use the +20% EXP for all mine. Lvl 65 Mage Lvl 70 Monk Lvl 71 Cleric Lvl 61 Bard other Lvl 37 Mage Lvl 30 Rogue Lvl 30 Barbarian Lvl 12 Knight I find Barb + Cleric focused on the Monk = best DPS, I kill the last boss BEFORE he disappears.
It's ridiculous how the red jelly in the arena one-hit KOs all your characters. They should fix it so that your characters can at least survive one damn hit.
Oozes, jellies, call them what you will. They have a history of being truly terrifying throughout pop culture and fantasy. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gelatinous_cube http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Blob http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Slime_(Dragon_Quest)
I stopped reading anything past the first link. Stop what you're doing and create a character (that you can control, or is an enemy AI), and make it a transparent cube that has the ability to absorb enemies. The devoured will lose HP over time and also be removed from the battlefield for a short duration. Now THAT would be awesome.
Fail security is fail This game really needs better security I literally hacked this game to give me 99999 money in like 10 minutes. I still play the game legitly on my 4g touch because its wayyyy more fun. I just want to point out how people can easily get through the game due to easy hacks. .... ...........................Notice how i have like 10,000 money now. This is merely a tech demo..... I don't encourage anybody else to hack the game. It's way more fun to play it normally
Someone else managed this about 70 pages back I think. Editing an unencrypted preferences file is not "hacking", but if you find it fun then knock yourself out.
Great game!! Can someone please tell me the T9 cut-offs for arena 2 and 3? I think it is 70 for arena 3 (arena 2, I cant remember at all) but I am not sure. I tried searching the thread but was unable to find them. Thanks!
Can someone explain to me "tier" items? How do you know if an item is a tier #? There are several references in previous posts and I don't quite understand it. Also, what does a unit's armor/defense stat refer to? Is it the unit's health, the unit's defense (resistance to damage), or a combination of both? To further illustrate my question, would it be possible to have a unit class with less armor/defense stat that lasts longer than another unit class with higher armor/defense stat, if they are theoretically hit by the same attacks?
Game Impressions @MikaMobile: Just wanted to join the chorus... Fantastic game. As much fun as I've had with any iOS game and easily the most excited I've ever been over an iOS game. Akin to what others have said, you somehow perfectly nailed distilling the essence of party building and combat from games like World of Warcraft and Guildwars in a deceptively simple and cute mobile game. Battleheart received my second 5 star review in the iTunes app store ever (I'm rather critical when it comes to rating games). I almost immediately felt like I'd gotten my $2.99 worth out of the game (something there are $0.99 titles that have been on my touch for months I'm still on the fence about ) and bought ZombieVille and OMG Pirates! to show my immense appreciation at a dev who seems to "get" the platform better than just about anyone else I've seen. As for my input on some of the recurring themes in this thread: My biggest wishlist is a more unified off the battlefield UI. The division (and resulting navigation) of the Merchant, Armory, and Keep makes for a very awkward load out process. I'm not in the portraits and/or unit selection cycling is THE MOST IMPORTANT THING EVAR! camp, but I would not be opposed to seeing something in this vein. In particular, I think the portraits with the health bars moved off the avatars would actually clean up the UI, but I leave this to the devs, I simply approached the game from the p.o.v. that managing location of my units is part of the game so clumping and selection issues doesn't make my blood boil like it clearly does some of the posters. I don't give a toss about Game Center and Achievements. I'm not going to demand a refund if they get added at some point , but I completely agree with your post early on in this thread: time spent coding the game to recognize you just killed your 1000th goblin could instead be used to make more maps, characters, items, skills, classes, etc.. I've seen exactly one game where the achievement system actually added to the replayability: Starcraft 2, and that's because the achievements were well thought out and many were downright challenging. In pretty much every other game they're purely "something to do". I say keep on with your original stance and focus on improving the existing game instead of adding fluff. One thing I would love to see is elite classes we'd upgrade existing characters to (think Fire Emblem) through rare talismans and reaching harder and harder areas. That's really the only area I see as a genuine weakness in the existing game: while there is "infinite" ability to level and improve, there's no real reason to do so other than the satisfaction of leveling everyone up. Also put me down as someone who, after you tweak and polish the core game of course, would be willing to drop some more money on well implemented IAPs.
The more attack an item has the higher the tier is. There are a total of 9 weapons per job with the 9th weapon having the highest attack. Right now there is no way of telling what "tier" weapon you have unless you beat the arena and get 70+ kills on Doomvale. This lets you know you have gotten the best weapon/armor. The defense helps it take harder hits while the attack let's it hit harder damage. The defense is important because if an enemy hits 40 damage and you have 60 defense then they hit 0 damage. None of the enemies hit 40 damage though.
