I just noticed that the Elf wizard is much better then the old red wizard. They have the same base defense stats, but the elf wizard has 3 more attack stats. This seems kind of odd seeing how most of the other duplicates have 1+ in attack or defense compared to their counterparts.
I would just like to spew out a few suggestions, im not sure if they were previously mentioned: - Make characters like robin, and gustav, or the two wizards have different special. ( IE. Robin can be more of a de buffer and gustav could be more of a melee dps) - New classes ( i know this has been mentioned before) - Paladin (Tank) - Archer / Hunter / Ranger ( Ranged dps) - Druid ( Buffer / ranged dps ) - Shaman ( Healer / melee dps) - Samurai / Weapons master (Melee Dps)
Don't know if this has been mentioned, but could someone post a list of characters and when you get them?
Haven't seen Mika here in a bit. Guess developers need to take weekends. Anyway, might be rehashing some things I said before, but I think maintaining simplicity but adding certain levels of complexity can still be maintained with a couple of changes. I'd like to see the bard/cleric do something other than buff. Mainly, I think the bard could be not just a buffer, but a debuffer. So, if you focus the bard on a baddie, then they get debuffed the same way you get buffed. The cleric, if focused on a mage should be able to mute them. Maybe have the knight, or monk, if focused on another party memeber, defend them and automatically take the mobs attacking them. Oh, and give the monk the ability to attact and deflect arrows. Make him awesome against archers.
I just had a crash on the slime boss (and it's not from Revenge). I'm on 1.0.3, with a party of Monk 25/Witch 24/Wiz 25/Bard 17. Skills are: Monk: Ki Blast, Tiger Claw, 1000 Palms, Dragon Style Witch: Debilitate, Piercing Shadow, Horror, Terrifying Presence Wiz: Time Stop, Impact, Thunderbolt, Mage Armor Bard: Song of Vigor, Gusto, Song of Inspiration Thu bug happened just as the last small slime reformed in the big one. My immediate preceding action had been to cast Horror. I'm thinking maybe a bug where the game crashes if a spell's target disappears the moment you cast it?
I absolutely love this game, however I do have to agree with some comments on this thread. The only time I lose is when I have issues selecting the correct characters. My wife asks my why am I yelling explicitives throughout the house, and I try to explain to her that I was attempting to select the cleric for a needed heal after spike damage but selected my tank instead. She has no pitty for my hardships... hehe This is my favorite game right now hands down. The only time I am not playing is when my itouch is back on the recharge rack... I havent touched my 360 all weekend.
I'd add a few suggestions (seems to be en vogue): Make a level cap for each release. I'm questioning why I'm spending 10-15 hours trying to get tier 9 when I could easily get as much dmg/armor bonus per hour just leveling on the last boss. A level cap will make whatever the current end game gear is more valuable. Allow the upgrade of non-purchasable (end game) weapons/armor. Collecting money in games is fun. In Battleheart, money loses it's worth quickly because the the last two sets of gear you complete can't be upgraded (money spent on) It's a great game. I'm looking forward to future content releases. I'm looking back also to see what other games this developer has made, seems like he/she may have a good mind for making great games.
Lol questions about the game are spam now? Oh I didn't know you came here and suddenly owned this thread, Mr. Battleheart-know-it-all, har har. Guess people who want to ask questions will need to search all 129 pages of this thread first as part of Sir Darkened's screening process of whether or not the post is worthy here. Some people actually just play this game casually, in case you haven't noticed.
Is that so? Hmm, could someone be nice enough to find out the base stats of each character? That would be pretty useful. I can't find anything on that on the wiki. Well said!
It's annoying to see the same posts over and over again while there is a wiki page as well as an entire strategy thread. This thread is for general discussion not questions that you can use the search function for....
We're still lurking about. Even though I don't respond to every suggestion, I'm still reading pretty much everything. I've just been taking a bit of a breather now that it seems most of the bugs have been ironed out, its been a stressful couple of weeks. I think 1.0.4 should be going live very soon (submitted Wednesday) which addresses the "revenge" bug among other smaller issues. The update after that will resolve the issue with conflagrate and the ooze boss, and a rare circumstance that can cause the monk's AI to freeze up temporarily when 1000 palms gets unexpectedly interrupted. We also tracked down a really odd bug which can delete your save (*gasp*) if you suspend the app while the "are you sure you want to delete" confirmation dialog is open. So uh... don't do that. I would also add that the repeat questions actually don't bother me, helps to shed light on problems sometimes (i.e. the Bard is poorly explained in game).
Is anything to be done about the drop rate scenario...? There's a couple options here. 1) Keep it the same 2) Remove trinket drops from arena completely (and possibly last boss) 3) Allow for the purchase but not upgrade to tier 8 weapons after beating the game 1,000 gold each weapon/armor 4) Increase chance of getting a tier 9/8 weapon/armor from the last boss/arena. I have gotten to 50 kills like 30 times now with my crew and I have yet to find any tier 8 armor. I have also killed the last boss so many times my entire team is level 50+ now with no luck on finding tier 8 armor.
Nope the chance of getting a tier 9 weapon/armor opens up at 70+ kills but the rate of a tier 8 weapon/armor stays the same (I wind up getting trinkets anyway at 70 kills) so I'm slowly trying to upgrade to all tier 8 stuff so that I will get more of a substantial defense/attack boost over leveling up so when I do start getting tier 9 weapons it won't take so long.
Do you know how broad the search function is? Honestly, I don't see why you're complaining about it. If you're tired of answering the same question, then don't answer it. Battleheart is such a great game that it has developed a large following here, so there's a 99% chance someone else will answer it instead.
There actually isn't "tier 8" armor, because there are only 6 pieces of armor per category, as opposed to the 9 weapons per category. So loot tier 7 and 8 have the same armor, the only difference is that 8 has unique weapons that can't be upgraded too, and fewer (but not zero) trinkets.
I agree with you. I've simply had a rough week and I've tried to hide it but it seems I'm doing quite a bad job. The major thing asked is what does the Baird do. He buffs the party and as well he heals the party. If you know how to use him properly you can ditch the cleric altogether on some fights. I find personally though that he is not as good as the cleric.
