    Basic questions:
    - Does arena give any exp? Or only one item?
    - Is there any way to train characters not in your party, other than repeatedly grinding previous levels with those characters to bring them up to scratch? It reminds me of the absolutely horrible design in Inotia 3 where characters left out of your party are never used again
    - Any tips on selecting the right character when they're stacked together attacking the same target?
    - Is there any difference between the female wizard and the male wizard other than looks?

    Only one item, no experience.

    1. Arena does not get exp, just items. That's why actually trying in the arena at lower levels is pretty much pointless. At low levels, I suggest you just take a cleric in there and purposely die to build up some good foundation items/easy money, and not try to get a highscore and some super duper rare item in the arena until you are really ready.

    2. Unfortunately, the only way to train characters are to go back in campaign levels and beat them. I'd suggest you match up the character you want to level up with a cleric, bard, and tank. Have the tank do most of the dirty work while the cleric/bard buff and heal, and try to get your low-level character all the killing blows. It'd be a good idea to equip your low-level character with XP-boosting items.

    3. I try to lure all the monsters into the middle and surround them at different directions, so I'll usually have a cleric/bard at the bottom of the screen with most of the action at the top, have my two tanks at the left and right sides, and have my wizard/witch at the top. Sometimes when the AI swarms, this setup will completely collapse as you try to get the AI away from the top/bottom weak characters to your left/right tanks, but it's much better than chaos throughout.

    4. I don't think there are any differences between the duplicate classes, such as the wizards or the rogues.

    Thanks.
What exactly does the Bard do? He seems to "heal" a character every 2 seconds or so if I draw a line to him/her, what's the effect?
Right now my party is all level 10-12, with one character of every single class excluding Bard since I had no idea what he's used for. So that makes it monk, wizard, witch, cleric, knight, barbarian, and rogue I think. My favourites so far are cleric since she's sort of mandatory, knight since he takes next to no damage, monk since I love his skill that attacks everyone on the screen thus luring everything to him, and witch since she has this freezing spell. Rogue is not bad either since she attacks fast. Barbarian seems to be kind of useless since his defense is way too low.

I'm really thinking about making an in depth guide somewhere to point out what each character does because the amount of repetition in this topic is insane at this point. Please use the search function.

Baird BUFFS/HEALS single guy/party (MOSTLY BUFFS)
Cleric HEALS/BUFFS single guy/party (MOSTLY HEALS)

There is a difference. Cosmetic AND all duplicate characters have different base stats.

To level up one guy up to 30 simply get 2 20% XP Eggs and kill the slime boss 50 times. It's approximately 400 exp per slime boss kill. That's level 5-8 in one boss.

If anyone has any questions you can pm me or add me on skype (user name SoDarkened) so we can keep the spam and repeat questions out!

To clarify, though, the Bard is significantly better at group healing than the Cleric is. In terms of healing ability, the Cleric is only better at single target and auto-healing.

This is false due to level 30 skill that increases party healing by 30% if you stack it with the 15% rings he winds up beating the Baird. Also note my Cleric at level 56 heals way better than my 38 Baird.

The Bairds final skill allows for his first skill to be used to heal the party but that takes away DPS while the Clerics first skill heals the party regardless.

IMPORTANT!!!!!!!!! BUG!!!! I haven't posted for quite a while, but there is a bug you need to know. When you're at the boneyard the game randomly crashes! I can't beat the level when it crashes.
Just when I was doing well.....T.T
EDIT: if you try to use the wizards enveloping flame attack while the jelly his is reforming then it crashes

bard is not a healer per say though, his targeted ability increases attack and defensive abilities by %15. I am really not sure how he can really play well seeing as he dosnt do dps, and he doesn't direct heal which means you still need a healer and you are missing one dps. buffing someones dps by %15 doesn't replace the loss of a whole dps... and even if he has strong aoe heals, the priest should be fine in any aoe healing needs you may have.

I've seen bards attempted in a few games, but only everquest prolly did it best, and he still did dps. Although one of his key rolls in eq was reducing down time which was sort of fixed in most games after everquest with improved food and drink mechanics.

So you're saying if you stack your party with +healing received trinkets (while ignoring equivalent trinkets for the bard) and spec your bard out of group heals, that the cleric becomes better at group healing?

Even post nerf I still find the Bard more efficient. With a Heal over time and the group heal ability he keeps healing more manageable while offering a significant DPS boost.

The Baird doesn't recharge abilities fast enough because I have +att on him in order to increase the parties attack rate.

I use him as a BUFFER and I feel he will never par with my Cleric.

I've reported this. I found this quite a while back. It happens rarely because you need to use this, and only this attack. Nothing else will cause the game to crash.

This flaw has most likely definitely been mentioned before, but I just encountered it so I might as well say it again.

If your character is on the very edge of the screen, sometimes enemies that are off the screen will attack him and you won't notice until their health bar is at less than half. In my particular case, I was also battling another creature which covered his health bar, so after I came out of that little skirmish, I realized I was one man down.

The unscatter button is highly necessary IMO... a gesture would solve the purpose much better than a button that takes up screen space. Perhaps double-tapping the screen with two fingers would do the trick.

How many maps/worlds are there total? I'm on the last few levels of the Haggerdom one right now.
