Actually I think the whole menu should be simplified. The Tavern menu is useless after you bought all the characters and could be merged with the Keep and the Academy menu, which should show all the character stats, skills, weapons, armor etc.
The Merchant menu could be merged with the Armory menu, so you can give loot you find and things the merchant offers and can't use in your party to other characters so you could level them up even if you don't use them and so that you can switch weapons and armor from one character to another.
Maybe it could even all be done in one dynamic menu. Just a thought...

Wait...so there are even more rare weapons in this game? I just got this blade after going 100 rounds in the final arena. I thought the Frozen Doomspike was the Rogue's final weapon, turns out I was wrong.

Uhh there's a 9th tier... yes... check the Wiki page to see all of them. You had the 8th tier... You can ONLY get 9th tier from the ARENA.

It's hard to decide which characters to use. Gustav was like the first rouge I bought and I still never replace him. There's something about him that feels...BADASS! :D

I just checked the Wiki, Vardus is the 9th tier dagger. I had no idea the Wiki existed, thanks for pointing that out.

Yes, Gustav just looks deadly! I shamefully have to admit I was reluctant to use the pirate simply because I didn't think he fit in with the look of the others. Good thing I gave him a try - cause he's awesome.

Good idea. I like it. Maybe even one difference in their skill trees.

I like the idea of making it visual, like an isometric view of a tiny village. Either touching a building brings you there, or maybe even moving a party member to a building.

    Just another thought. :)

    Best DPS?

Which class do you think is the strongest DPS?

I would assume Barbarian (because of the downsides to his abilities), but my 35 Rogue is a DPS machine. I haven't leveled Wizard past 15 yet, but that seems like it could be pretty damaging, too.

So my monk/bard/cleric/rogue group kills things faster than my knight/cleric/rogue/wizard. Wizard is nice for the CC, but it just takes so long to get past 70 using the second group in the final arena its not even worth it.

Characters with high DPS, like barbarians or Rogues imo.

I'm having a problem finding tier 8 stuff from the last boss.

My team is nearly 40+ now (36 Baird) [As well I have all other non main party characters at level 30] and I have only found the sword (twice), the barbarian stuff (twice), and the dagger (once) nothing else. No armor or nothing. I keep getting trinkets.

My main party (monk, baird, cleric, wizard) haven't had the weapon drops or armor drops so I can't better myself to get tier 9 weapons. I also have 12,000 gold now that I can't even use...

I wish there was a reason to cont. to collect gold. After a certain point, it has no value.

Bought this game on release as I've always said. Played it a couple of days now. Enjoyed it quite a lot. Definitely a keeper! This will surely continue to be an awesome game with updates on new character classes (hoping for a shapeshifter and other unique classes).

Just have a few more recommendations, which I hope can be considered:
Add optional sidequests. Given the lack of an overall story (which most reviews have cited, and I have also noted earlier), I think you can work on the sidequests to somehow even just add a little bit of story. This can be done by making the sidequests character-driven, meaning a certain character must be part of the party to complete a certain sidequest, whether it is a series of battles or just one battle. The sidequests will have basic storylines that would at least develop the various characters in the game. Adding required characters or specific classes (with probably even restrictions on a minimum level) will also encourage the player to utilize all available classes. Rewards at the end of sidequests could be rare items, collectible artifacts, or scrolls that reveal historical pieces of the world of Battleheart. It would also be great if certain stages would require you to use 8 party members, albeit, not at the same time, of course. The scenario would be like party 1 was sent to area A, while party 2 was sent to area B of one particular stage. This would also encourage players to work with and manage more than 4 character classes.

Just to let you know, my suggestions above are inspired from my experiences years back with 2 of my favorite games of all time - Final Fantasy Tactics and Suikoden 2.

Anyway, congratulations to a wonderful game.

I have a quick question. The Zara signet that increases heals to your character by 15 percent. If I give this to my Cleric, does this item increase her ability to self heal as well? I'm not talking about the cleric targeting herself, but her skill where she receives 50% of the healings from healing others. Would the 15% increase that 50% received?

On a separate note, does it also increase the healing ability of the health regeneration trinkets or the items that drains life from each attack?

Also does the Zara signet increases the healing property of the witches drain attack when the drained attack goes back to the witch?
