The female Paladin class sounds ace. I like the idea of a Druid and Shaman classes. The Shaman could deal with healing and curses. The Druid could have a small group heal, charming of enemies and shapshifting (usually into a wolf, Bear or other woodland beast) Or even outside the box, a vampire class. Where when attacked, he can split into little bats and attack each enemy and then reform, kinda like the slime boss.
So when my characters level up, is there a screen somewhere with character stats to select or improve or whatever? Or are "levels" just a five-step delay before you can unlock one more special power and that's the only purpose of experience levels?
so what items you guys equip to your characters? and also i usually equip 2 of the Bandit's Satchels, which give 20 percent more gold from battles. if i have 2 of them, does that make it 40 percent more? In other words, to items like these stack?
oh yea and also, can we please be able to see the base attack and defense stats of characters we select in the keep? it would be really useful to compare different guys
It's nice to see the dev is actually listening... The game is worth much more than what I've paid for already, but still as horrible as I sound... I still wish we can somehow build our equipments to better ones. Now the game provides the upgrade option where we can upgrade the equipments to the next level, but IMO it would be even better if we can strengthen our equipments, for example, +1 to the armor to make it more sturdy, etc. This way instead of constantly upgrading our equipments we have to find the next tier, not just paying gold and buy it...? Also, just throwing this out there, what if we have gems or some sort of enhencements that we can put into weapons for extra attack speed, power, life leech, elements, poison, etc?
Hey Mika Mobile, thanks for the game. Again! While I'm also working on the wiki (battleheart.wikia.com), there are four requests which would make this game even more freaking awesome: 1) Double-tap on an enemy to have all except for the healers attack this target. 2) Overlap-fix OR double-tap on a character to have all characters behind him take a step aside. 3) Keep: Tap on a character to view his stats and items. Plus, show the stats and items in green/red if they are superior/inferior to your actice hero's (only if there is the same class in group already). 4) Item quality indicators (colors). Hope to see how you think about this. PS: Better have this described another way; Reckless Blow A massive attack that deals damage to the barbarian as well as his target. (30 sec cooldown) -> Reckless Blow A massive attack that deals damage to his target as well as to the barbarian. (30 sec cooldown) PS2: The following spell name fits more to the rogue than the barbarian: Precision Strikes Your normal attacks have a 15% chance to deal critical damage. (Passive)
I was thinking there could be an Alien class where he uses different ray guns. He'd be a ranged TANK, but have low def and hp to compensate. He uses all sorts of dps and strong rays and shots.
Well I think it's all sorted now, been playing for about the last two hours ,normal stages, arenas everything and not one crash. Wooooohoooo
T-Rex with a monocle, as a tank. He'd use his teeth because his arms are to small to swing a sword, but just long enough to hold his signature cane and to tip his top hat when a lady is present. He would work off of debuffs, mostly from his roars. His armor would be different tuxedos and canes. Aliens & Dinosaurs, totally relevant to the lore imho.
Awesome Update... I never noticed this before (because this seems new), but the way that you addressed item equipping and deciding who and with whom the item goes to is very elegant. I was totally expecting you to merge Armory and Merchant, but it's VERY awesome that now all one has to do is look at the UP and DOWN arrows on the character portraits above the stat window to not only see WHO the weapon can be equipped to (in your current roster), but whether it's weaker or stronger than what they have currently. Design wise, it's all at a glance, too! Makes shopping for items SOOOO much easier. F'ing Brilliant. Based on the speed with which you handled this , I cannot WAIT to see how you address the other concerns fans have brought up. This works amazingly well without compromising your design vision. 1. Stacking: We know that you know. We can also tell that you're determined to keep the super-clean UI. That said, the stacking issue is more than just a problem of being unable to see your character. it's an inability to choose them and take action with/to them in the heat of battle. While some people have suggested a small UI 'crowding' patch, I still suspect that adding tiny GUI portraits would be the best of both worlds. Also, a one-button quick 'formation' toggle that auto-scatters your team into a preset formation on screen would be killer. 2. Quick look status: Being able to see a character's health condition in the heat of battle would be awesome. If you do add the portraits (and we know that's a BIIIIIIG if), a simple color change to show status helps. 3. ONLINE: We know that you're working on possible class upgrades, new levels, and new characters, but just being able to get online to take my group against another group would be TOO DAMN INCREDIBLE. If you were to add that, along with the ability for players to mix groups of ANY type (including enemy types)...All i can say is that this game will NEVER DIE. As has been said before, this is easily my favorite ipad game. Yes, being UNIVERSAL was HUGE in my decision to buy it. This game is everything I wanted out of, say, Dungeon Defenders: First Wave, and I can tell you now: NOBDOY is going to complain about IAP with this game...EVER. You guys rock. Again, props on the equipment/upgrade solution. Brilliant.
I just want to be among those who have thanked Mika for working so hard to bring us such an immensely enjoyable, creative and masterfully formed game here. I love the way that with each game release they have gotten better and better with making great ios games which are so fluid. The (their) art style is beautiful to behold and the way the gameplay elements are interwoven so seamlessly. I don't like to compare games but I will at least say of the 1500+ ios games I own (all paid for in case you wondered) this is for me the very peak of IOS gaming so far. I am so pleased to be giving this much accolade to Mika; you just keep surpassing my expectations guys. One last thing I would say is that I would agree with the forum member who said they'd like to see a big 25+ hour full on RPG come out of this game as a future project, I think judging by comments I've read in the past week or two that people would be willing to pay a bit more for that...say perhaps $4.99 it cold still chart at that price once word of this game really spreads. Also I would be happy to pay for an expansion for this game doubling the content and making it twice as much fun. Thanks again Mika and I pledge to instabuy your releases moving forward and get as many people as I can to buy your games. We need more like you P.S. Please keep the universal build on new releases as standard and stay classy.
I loved this so much I made an account Seriously, this is my first post here only because this game rocks so much. It's become my new go-to game. Thanks Mika for making such an awesome game. I agree with most of the suggestions for improvement esp. the T-Rex character with monocles. Yes please. And other than the ability to read my mind so I don't need to even touch the screen, I think it's damn near perfect gameplay!
I would like to see: - More maps - Gamecenter for arenas to compare scores with your friends - Trading items via bluetooth (My brother made a save on mine and wants his stuff back) - Dueling 2 vs 2 party via bluetooth/gamecenter (Maybe in a few months but would be fun to see) - More characters (especially the non casters since we have: witch/wizard/cleric/bard/soon archer/soon necromancer) - Coop where one person controls 2 people from their iDevice and another one controls 2 from theirs. - Training room (With ability to switch on/off training dolls. The player trains tactics and can also get a small tutorial of each character here. (like the one in the beginning of the game)) I know most of these are probably hard/impossible to do, but it would make this amazing game... uhm more fun, if possible
loving this game its become my fave game have 5 hours in and cant wait to play more( killed my ipad battery) lol also cant wait for new stuff hell even some IAP would rock
Normally I'd never quote my own post, I think a few other interesting classes to add might be: A shepherd, who like a summoner has sheep who aid and can shift them into rams when using offense. A werewolf class. Or a summoner class who can call dragons to your aid. Hmmm... There's just so many lore type classes. I liked the Druid idea...or a necromancer class too?
