Just wondering how many stages are there? Is there more than one Map of stages? Thanks. Been playing for a couple of hours now and near the end of the first map. Just hoping there's plenty more stages ahead.
Torn between the Bard and Cleric... The AE attack on my Cleric is pretty handy... Haven't gotten my Bard leveled up enough to see farther into his skill tree, but I am a huge fan of Buffs, and I hear he's got them. Verdict anyone?
Yea, we did add the pirate to Battleheart, more as a nod to our fans than as a marketing tool. I wanted to work in the main Zombieville guy too, but a good place to fit him in didn't really present itself (yet). Maybe as an alternate skin to the archer/hunter/ranger type class we're aiming to add.
Are you still a 2 person company? Great job on another successful game! We love seeing other indie developers make a great game that also sees commercial success.
Has anyone besides me been hitting the check for updates button repeatedly for the past 2 days in hopes of the update?
What a great game, my only problem now is deciding which device to play it on, iPad or iPhone, the bigger screen is nice on iPad but something about the game seems suited to the iPhone somehow. I'll have to continue with both for now, until I can make my mind up! I like how the skill system works, that you can change them around whenever you like, you don't need to choose a skill at level up then be stuck with it for the rest of the game. One thing though, I wish ranged fighters would switch targets automatically when their current target dies, rather than just stand there doing nothing. Wow, yes please, all games would be improved with the addition of a t-rex with monocle and top hat!
I'm a fan of the Bard, but only with the Witch substituting in as a sorta-kinda secondary healer. So far my most effective group is Knight/Monk/Witch/Bard. It's a little more hectic and cooldown-dependent than using the Cleric but I think it's more fun. Plus I just love the Bard's animations. Kudos to Mika for some fantastic graphics - I'd rather look at this game than any Gameloft/EA 3D pixelated nonsense any day of the week.
I can't help but get a goofy smile every time I play this game or even see screenshots of it. The graphics are just so adorable! For example, the little wizard holding the book under one arm, the way the characters stand around blinking, or the nonscary enemy characters and monsters. My favorite looking monster has got to be either the bat (with how it seems as if its only trying to look mean) or the blank expressions on the oozes' "faces". Anyway, I think a huge part of this game's appeal is the art style and graphics which are absolutely spot on. It would be absolutely wrong to me to have the same exact gameplay but with fully 3D characters or with more detailed 2D sprites. This art style doesn't take itself seriously at all and it's all part of this game's charm. Not sure I'd go so far to say I'd rather "look" at this game than any other game, but the graphics for this game are 100% fitting to it. I like games with fitting art styles - it can have 3D or 2D or a pixellated look or whatever - it really depends on how it all fits together with the rest of a game's presentation and with the gameplay. However, there is a certain appeal about a bunch of cute looking characters beating up on each other though...
The crashes in this game Is quite frustrating, working hard to battle through the Arena only to CRASH! I really want to love this game, but the crashing just doesn't allow for it. I hope the update comes sooner rather than later. The crash happens even after I restarted my 4.2.1 3GS and nothing on my multitasking tray
Wow... You're kidding me... I would have thought at least a handful...The two of you must have a TON on your plate... Wow, truly amazed. I'm really a big fan of the music and art direction! Two questions: Have you thought of hiring additional employees? Less work for you, and perhaps more content for us? =D =D Also, from some of your boss mechanics, it would seem you've played WoW before? What class is/was your main, and how are you enjoying cata?
@MikaMobile: Is there an estimate of how long is the patch hitting? Is it only a bugfix or will it bring new things to the table? Haven't bought the game yet, but with all the roar been looking into it.
From what I recall, an patch has already been submitted to fix the various crash bugs, with content updates arriving sometime afterwards. I would get the game. I'm close to 15 hours played...haha.
