only thing holding me from buying this right now is im worried this is gunna be on sale sometime soon Mika any sales coming soon?
No sales planned at the moment. I thought about it briefly since we're featured, but its already selling way better than I had hoped so I'm not really in a hurry to mess with it... or piss off the thousands of people who just bought it for three bucks.
Seriously? It is 3 freaking dollars. How much cheaper does it need to go? You are missing out trying to save literally a dollar.
HOLY FREEEKIN CRASHES!!! I've been one of the lucky few to not have any crashes, thats until last night vs the ooze boss. I have a pattern I typically do, that starts with the rogue debuff, and then goes down the list with the rest of my party's special moves. Pretty much guaranteed a crash if I did my Witch's AOE followed by her basic special move to take advantage of the NPC's lowered armor. I wouldn't say I'm tapping fast, I've got 10 seconds to blow my cools, so maybe the crashes are all the effects on screen, dunno, but it was highly annoying. I crashed a lot, and I mean more than 10 times trying to defeat the ooze boss. I ended up having to not stack my specials to just avoid crashing On a side note, for lore's sake (typical with this genre) I'm not digging the viking, pirate, or monk, they just don't look cohesive with the rest of my party. Might as well throw a T-Rex in while you're at it, and give him a monocle and top hat. #imjustsayin
However now would be the prime time to discount Zombieville and OMG Pirates to advertise/celebrate Battleheart... you're poised to dominate the app store, don't waste this opportunity to entice new gamers (and allow me to get the other 2 products cheap)
This would be useful for MikaMobile if their other products were somehow promoted in Battleheart, but I haven't seen that. A cross-promotion between their others games within Battleheart would be nice, such as the Ninja from OMG Pirates making an appearance as a Rogue-type playable character.
I'm enjoying Battleheart more than I thought; no comment on the crashes since I appreciate a fix in pending. This would indeed be excellent so long is it was subtle. Minigore does a nice job of crossing over to other games with character inclusion that made me look into a buy a few without feeling strong armed. On the other end Cartoon Wars has huge advertisement segments on the menu (even for a game I already purchased) that I feel take away from the core product.
I can't even get past the first boss without the game crashing. I'm waiting for an update to fix the crashes since I can't move on until I've beat the Goblin boss. Fun game, but disappointed that I have to play in the four areas before the boss stage over and over.
I had some crashing on this level too but after 2 restarts managed to complete withou crashing so you might keep giving it a go.
Crashed atleast 4 times. Anyways, just beat the level. I think that the difference was that I didn't let any of my people die this time which I did the past four times. Happy now that I can finally move on! Still waiting for the update though.
I'm having a hard time with the final boss. Any suggestions pleeease? I'm using the knight, pirate, cleric and I alternate between the bard and the wizard. My characters are up to about level 22.
Yea sorry, this is a known bug fixed in the update pending approval. A dead or missing party member will often crash the game right after he finishes charging around the room.
MikaMobile did a great job there in Zombieville. You know you can get the John Gore in Zombieville and the Survivor in Minigore. Pretty cool concept. And we at TGW know that these crossovers work as we teamed with Pocket God to bring their zombie pygmies into Trenches. (My way of nudging Mika to consider it...)
Split-Screen I personally thing that it would be the coolest thing ever to have split-screen co-op on iPad. Split the screen into 4, and have each corner in control of a single character. It could probably work with 2 people as well. Anyways, it'd be a great new way to play the game. ...Might be a little boring, though, as each character is very limited individually...
