I'm really enjoying this. Crashes for at boar battle, but I'm hiring a full cast of characters and having a good time learning how to use each and leveling up each. Boar battle is tough for me even before the crashes! One thing I'm still not used to is the line drawing. It's not like flight control where I draw a path that can have curves - instead, the path is always straight and sliding changes the end point. This is prob main reason my characters end up overlapping.
I really wish unless I'm blind that we could see the levels of our characters in the keep when we swap. Makes it easier to organize who I need to level and such.
I got exactly 120 kills, but my inventory was full. Doh! At 120 kiills, the spawn was two healers, slime and ogre, and I was having massive trouble doing enough damage to kill anything. I think I was wasting stuns on the slime, and should have been stunning the healers.
How long did it take u and is there an endless mode or something to keep one playing even after hes done the game?
http://www.tuaw.com/2011/02/03/tuaws-daily-app-battleheart/ The graphics are polished, the sounds and music are great, and the variety of classes and their various abilities is really awesome. Unfortunately, there's not a ton of content -- the main battle mode is all there is, and while it takes a while to play through (probably more than enough for most casual players), there's no multiplayer, survival mode or any other gameplay to check out. There's no Game Center integration at all, either. Some users have reported crashes as well, and on that your mileage may vary. But all of those things can (and probably will) be patched in later. The core game is available right now for US $2.99, and it's worth every penny.
Best DPS? Hey guys, I'm currently using Cleric, Bard, Knight, & Rogue @ lvl 20. I'm on lvl 3 so far. The third arena is pretty name hard. The bard buffs the rogue and cleric heals knight as tank. Pretty simple strat and works well. Esp with War Cry. For those that have used the other classes? Who's a better DPS? Wizard, Rogue or Barbarian? (Also is there a berserker class??) What's the best way to power level some toons? I'm trying to do the golem boss but it takes foreveeer and I keep failing.
No survival mode? Something tells me that the reviewer didn't make it far enough to the arenas before posting that...
The author of the article should probably get contacted so that part is corrected. Haven't played the game myself, but I reminded that I read the article somewhere (had to look for it and then post that part here).
thanks for the replys im just about ready to click buy just wondering how long the main game takes to beat
Awww come come I hope the update comes here already I am doing precise swipes and not panicking swipes and it crashes during the first boss but anyway anybody know a good party of characters to have right now I have gustav,Lucille,Shepard and feung is that a good party or what?
How much more damage deals a critical hit and is there an actual animation for it? i dont think ive seen one... btw i really like the how bonuses don't multiply but add up. simple and effective.
Do you have a dead party member, or less than 4 people? We fixed a crash related to that as well, where the boars targeting would screw up randomly if a target was unavailable.
Hahaha! Bummer. Yes, once those two healers start to appear, you should utilize any stun type abilities on them and nothing else. If you have a particularly high level barbarian, you could knock one down and have the wizard ignite the other on fire, but focus on just killing one at a time (preferably the one that's running around praying for dear life). If you try both at the same time, I can tell you you're pretty much wasting your time, haha. But yes, I've played it another round and got past 120 (159) and I got another rare weapon, unfortunately I already had one
I'm wondering.. if my rogue, for example, crits while wearing lifesteal items, does she get more life back from the extra damage from the crit?
