I totally agree, I love that you can just switch skills on the fly to try out new styles really easily, I think that adds a lot more fun to it and is a big bonus to it's pick up and play style.
So I have a level 16 Shepard, and I have the "Ancient Crystal Sword" which can not be upgraded any higher, are there better swords that you can get from arenas? Also the higher you get in an arena the better "Spoils" you get from it? Or is just random?
lol how is any of this contributing to the productivity of the game? So basically this thread is your wish list? Good job being the product of your own frustration. @olio that's exactly what this thread is, starcat just has his ipod stuck too far up his a**.
Game Impressions Great game. I've spent alot of time with this title already and it still is an amazing and fresh game. I hope that MikaMobile continues to support this game with worthwhille and important updates that adds not only new items and levels but also maybe new characters? It would be great to see the addition of a ranger class(im sure this has been mentioned) and a Shaman/MindControlling class. This paticular hero would be able to controll enemies who are not bosses and have them target other enemies. Its specials could consist of anything from boosting the attack and defense of its target to even controlling two at a time(lvl 20 or higher skill?) Another suggestion I have towards this game is that you combine the Academy and Armory together and just create a "Heroes" tab that lets you see everything about the heroes, such as; Level, Armor,Inventory,Experience, Character Description, Spells, etc. Also I think a combat record would be cool too so you can see how many kills and deaths your characters have accumulated overtime. Other than those things I posted I personally think the game is 5 out of 5, good job Mika Mobile I hope to see amazing updates and add ons in the future
Wohoo! Somebody said that you won't beat the last boss without cleric, but it went very smoothly with The Bard - who just made lvl 30 before the fight, thus making him a competent group healer - and Witch, Black Knight and Wizard, all three under lvl 25. Even without the Bard's lvl 30 skill I doubt there would've been many more difficulties, as the skill (or its effect, to be precise) got maybe one or two uses.
Would be great if you added an info screen to the menu. To explain the classes like the bard, whom i at first thought was pointless... also whilst in the keep id like to be able to read about the characters i have ( the text i saw in the tavern)
I dont think so. The game worth a lot more than 3 bucks and ifyou see the mika mobile previous releases, i think they never went on sale. I'm really glad that I bought this game. You will not be disapointed.
I'm stuck at the last boss. My party consists of a rogue, 2 mages, and a bard. They are all around level 30-32, with the best equipments buyable. But I wasn't even close to beating the final boss. His AOE spell at the very least will kill one of my characters at least (my rogue most of the time) and it all goes downhill from there every time. Has anyone been able to defeat the final boss with similar setup? And at what level? I wanna avoid going arena for now because last time I was there, it crashed when I was on 120 and still got all my characters alive... That's so annoying. Anyway, aside from the crashes, I really love this game. One of my favorite Iphone games already. Hope the update comes soon to fix the crashes.
I've beaten the boss with two groups. First with monk, cleric, rogue and the Bard (everyone under lvl 25) and second time with wizard, witch, knight (all under lvl 25) and the Bard (lvl 30). First time it took few tries, second time one try. You can hear the sound when the boss starts to cast his death spell and that's your cue to move your melee fighters away from him. Casters and healers shouldn't even be close to him at anytime, and moved away immediately of his vicinity if they somehow end there. AoE spell was countered with the Bard casting his regenerative group heal, and at lvl 30 he can have an instant group heal too.
Done, had a devil of a time with the final 4-5 levels, had to level to 30/31 to do it. Standard party of knight/cleric/wizard/rogue. Not sure the rogue really brings enough to the table to be an objectively optimal choice as killing speed isnt real important given that the next fight doesnt spawn till your done with the prior. Moreover, he only gains a good control option (paralyzing knife) at the expense of his best dps special. Another wizard would seem objectively stronger for most purposes, way more control, close to equivalent damage given that the wizard doesnt have to run to target. In fact, with AOE factored in, I'm betting the wizard usually does more damage than the rogue in arena and on most levels.
1. Keep your heal over time spell from the bard up at all times to heal meteor storm damage. 2. When you hear the charging sound, move your melee characters including the tank away before the explosion.
what about a compare item windows in the merchant? it's really bad to see a weapon attack, go back to armory, view yours and then buy/not buy... ^^
Thanks for the advices, I guess I should turn on the game sounds next time. I'm gonna try it again soon. I was thinking of getting a real tank (monk or knight) to replace the rogue. Now that I think of it, do I even need a tank for this final boss? Or would it be okay to replace the rogue with a witch or even a cleric?
