Gabrien has a point. There's no real sense of progress while leveling up your party and killing hordes of monsters.

    But hey, I personally don't mind :D

I'm having a lot of fun with the game; it gives me the ability to try new combinations of characters for levels which I have a tough time with (the goblin boss, for example). I died the first 4-5 times I matched up against him, until I found some new strategies to make things work out. I like the simple strategy required to pass levels; the charming graphics and animations are also a big plus.

Overall, a fantastic little gem of a game. Two thumbs up!

i think he ment the bard while hes NOT doing his clickable moves.. i agree i was like Ya lets test out the bard!

and then i was like ok.. he doesnt do damage.. or anything else unless i click him? thats kinda weird.. he should at least give a Passive SOMETHING to a targeted hero or passive damage to a targeted enemy.

Ahh yeah, I just found one in the shop. I appreciate the response, though. Now, time to find a second one...

Really loving the game so far, but I have some suggestions for you, dear Mika!

1-Please add an item comparison in the shop!! Everytime I want to go buy something I have to quit the merchant, go to my armory, come back to the merchant if I want to buy it... It would be nice!

2-In the arena, when we defeat some trolls, it would be nice if they could give 2 points and not only one. (Just a tought)

3-And then maybe integrating a new mode in the arena : Crystal Defense - A crystal is in the center of the map and you must protect it as long as you can. (the monsters, obviously, will aim for the crystal and not the heroes, unless if someone hit it before)

4-I think that everyone will agree, but more classes would be very awesome so we could get more combinations of heroes and skills (Like an Archer and a Gunner, both well balanced, or a Necromancer and a Summonist, which would summon beast or demons)

Anyway, thank you for all of your fast anwser to our question and I'm happy to see that there is still developpers that are really attached to the game that they made and that want the customers to be as happy as thay can!!

    emotion?
from a pick up and play game?

this game is to be enjoyed for what it is.. not what it Could be.
the dev already stated that they didn't wanna include a crazy story
so it's more of a "let's protect our land" game. sheesh.

or would you like character development for the canabalt guy.. let's name him Henry...

if you could find the 'upcoming' thread you'd see plenty of plans and ideas The dev was open to add.

Definitely needs more classes... Would be great to have some "hidden' characters that are perhaps based on one of the standard classes, but have one different special skill...

This made my day. So much so that I fixed up the sentences and put it in my sig.
This next paragraph is directed at Mika Mobile.
I am a person that bought the game despite knowing that it was going to crash. The experience has actually been a lot better than I thought it would be. I've only put half an hour or so into the game, because I want to have a crash-free play, but from what I have played, Battleheart is very fun. In its current state though, obviously, I can't really recommend it. Thanks in advance for the update :p

Please add a button for tabbing through your units!

I'm busy micromanaging my tank with adds coming on to the screen and pulling them off my casters. How about a tab feature so I can cycle through units to manage my cooldowns?

Sorry, one more noob question. Does upgrading weapons to max just end up with the same stats as the ultimate weapon? This would mean that you can choose whatever weapon you think looks the best then, right?

Not only is this game awesome but it's the perfect example of a game done right on iPhone. I love it.

Upgrading items just converts them into the next tier of whatever it is, i.e. an iron sword becomes a rusty carver, so it's basically exactly like buying it from the merchant except far more expensive. If you're in a hurry, and have the cash, it's the quickest route to a higher level weapon or armor. The most powerful gear only comes from the arena though.

You have issues my friend. Full priced console games are released with bugs with no dev support or community action to remedy anything leaving you with a $50 hole in your pocket and you're whining about a $2.99 game that's been out 2 days and is already in the process of being fixed. Fricking relax, go outside and get some fresh air. Plus if you're so fed up, you should have the intelligence to read these threads or reviews on iTunes before being so impulsive and purchasing.

The other issue I've found is at the Golem boss, aggro gets reset which is part of the difficulty but also my cleric's healing target is reset but to herself at the same time. Is that supposed to happen or is this a bug? I thought she couldn't heal herself.

If anyone is looking for an ideal setup to romp through the levels here's a quick rundown:

Tank - All damage mitigates to him/ focus on defense stats/abilities
Support Melee - Prioritize speed & high quick damage (using a rogue won't stack on tank since he attacks from behind)
    Range - Support/damage abilities - time freeze/fear - drainlife/aoe/dots
Healer - Focus heals on Tank - gear up to reduce cooldowns - party heals when available.

In this setup you only have to worry about your tank taking damage, everyone else shouldn't be fighting 1v1. However your range can take out healers and archers 1v1 since they don't have an aggro table. And we already discovered a gold exploit 20 pages back, take only your healer to the arena, let her die, continue until your bag is full, sell stuff, 1000g richer.

    Over there --->
I agree. That would be great, especially since I always end up having at least 3 people stacked up on top of each other and having one die because I can't select him/her.

Ahh ok, thanks MM. I was under the misconception that upgrading a Sword would give you a Sword +1 or something. So I saved my gold until I beat the game just to find out that I couldn't upgrade my equipment. Time to go grind some arenas for some new loots.
