Does anyone know if there's a trinket that gives -6 sec to your cooldowns?

I think my favorite part of this game is playing around with different skill builds + trinket combinations. There's so much variety and different party types that you can try out. When they add more classes, the choices will be even more ridiculous.

Well I am one to support the developer on release and suffer the consequences I suppose so my statement was more general (as I stated - and not directed at Mika Mobile but as a statement to all, just happened to land here since this is where the discussion was happening).

If you look around the forums there are numerous beta projects going on that would open the game up to much more testing than a handful of in-house devices. As I said, a developer can be closer to his own project and not realize that different play styles might cause a crash.

I agree that a crash on release is a developer's worst nightmare and some have occurred even with a big beta test, but why not cover all bases? The one star reviews have got to kill and prevents the game from getting reviews until fixed etc. It might as well be the beta if that is going to happen. Unless you are part of a site and forum like this will the average customer revisit a game to see if the one star reviews are changed? Probably not. They will just go on to the next game.

So we are arguing the same point here. But I feel that a broader testing sampling introducing not only different devices and iOS' but play styles (which could have picked up on the spamming the healing causing the crash for a less skilled player than the developer) could have prevented this.

Deleted the game after a few rounds of playing.
The line-drawing control is extremely annoying. Why not just tap instead? Also when melee characters attack the same enemy they stack on top of each other, so it's such a hassle trying to heal that character who's stuck behind another guy. And the gameplay is just draw a line from the character to the enemy, and watch them attack monsters repetitively, which gets really really boring.

We've generally released pretty solid crash-free apps in the past, and actually logged a lot more testing hours on this one than any other. It just so happened that the crash most people are having is triggered by a style of finger tapping that none of our testers performed. If we had done a broader beta we might have caught it sooner, but theres no gaurantee.

Trust me, as a gamer myself I hate being a guinea pig with what seems like an untested release, but this glitch didn't sneak through out of laziness or indifference. A fix is being submitted today.

I purchased this game despite reports of a crash simply because I *really* loved OMG Pirates. It was by far the best beat-up-up on the app store. By far.

Yea, finding bugs can be a tricky thing. It's pretty unrealistic to expect a game to go out 100% bug free. There just aren't enough hours in a day to test an app under every possible circumstance. Sometimes things happen.

Here's my concern. Zombieville got tons of post-launch content. OMG Pirates...not so much :(.

Is continued development and support (content, not bug fixes) for Battleheart tentative at this point depending on how sales go? Or is additional content going to be added for sure? I know, the game's barely launched but I'm just curious about which direction this game will go.

    Thanks again!

Thanks MikaMobile for the update (that was very fast).

Had the crash, love the game nonetheless and in all honesty (liking very much what I was playing and considering it's a mere 3 dollars) when it crashed on me on the Boar Boss for the n-th time more than pissed I had a bit of sympathy for a 'small' dev studio that put a lot of efforts on their loved game and, probably on a much needed but brief vacation, was informed about a nasty crash to home bug (probably the worst dev nightmare).
Because, it has to be said, aside from the crash bug...everything else in the game spreads attention to detail and polish.
Probably I'm the only one but, that was my first emotion (and I bought the game perfectly knowing the bug was present).
I had much bigger problems with bigger devs and games, and was granted absolute silence for months (Puzzle Quest 1 and 2, Lara Croft, I'm looking at you!).
I hope you resolve the crash bug as soon as possible and have the needed rest and hopefully success (so you can add things to it! :) )

I'm really liking the difficulty curve on this game. I've actually started dying on some of the stages. The golem boss was a beast too. I decided to grind an extra stage or 2 to get a third ability for each of my characters, which helped a ton. Really good balance.

Got past the Boar with no crash YAY! I think my favorite setup now is the Witch, the Cleric, the Black Knight, and the Barbarian. Although I may trade out the barbarian for a rogue.

    Regarding additional content:

To be perfectly honest, OMG didn't get much love after release for a couple reasons. Under the hood, I didn't build it with expandability in mind. Adding new content was made unreasonably difficult just by how we built our systems. How well it sold didn't really factor in, it was mostly that we sorta painted ourselves into a corner technically. I was also just really burnt out on the project, the last couple months were a real grind and I wasn't super eager to jump back into it.

It also wasn't too far into 2010 when we conceived of Battleheart and got really excited about it. Learning from our mistakes, we built Battleheart in a highly modular and expandable way. Adding new content to it is a breeze compared to our previous games, and Ive got a number of things I'd like to add already.

It's your own bad judgment and risk if you rush to buy games a few hours after release without waiting for reviews. If this is going to bother you so much, wait to hear the feedback.

I'm very excited about any new content. This game has drained my iphone twice since I got it last evening. I have experienced some crashing, but the game more than makes up for it's current shortcomings with a very solid game that offers a ton of variety. The class combinations are fun to play with and warrant an almost Pokemon-like quality where I feel like I have to level everyone up to 30 so I can try out all the skill combinations. More classes would be awesome. Are there any plans to expand the skill trees at all past level 30?

We all understand the benefit for the developer. And developers want good initial reviews, they understand the benefit too. But running a large beta program on iOS is a lot of work.

I'm really looking forward to the additional content!

I also just wanted to let you know that I've drained my battery 4 times in a role, playing Battleheart. Even with the minor annoyances, I can't express how much I love this game. Due to my daily commute, I play ALOT of games, and Battleheart has quickly become a favorite.

I greatly look forward to more content! I've been recommended and talking about this game to anyone who is willing to listen...

I haven't crashed yet, put about 3 hours of game time in and loving every minute of it.

My only concern here is that I have a hard time picking units when they are behind one another. This is only compounded when enemies are near them.

Is there a way to cycle through units quickly? In WoW, you have the Tab key, is there any such method here? It would make managing my cooldowns much easier. Another idea is to double tap a group of stacked units to cycle through them.

    Great game :)

    Maybe pressing Ctrl-Alt-F6 would work.

Ok one cheap way to get a bunch if money really fast is to sell the defense item of each character you aren't using. Since I only use 4 main characters I sold all the defense items on all the other characters and got around 200 gold.

Also are you able to equip three abilities or two at the same time. How do you change the abilities of each character?
