Whoa! I just realize this game lacks of GameCenter achievements and leaderboards! I suppose them coming in the next updates! hehe
There is one bug I've ran into - if you leave the app frozen in the background too long the sound mutes. You have to quit the app from the multitask bar and reload it to get the sound back.
I made it through the game with monk, rogue, cleric and bard. Monks ability to hit every enemy on the screen is great to collect aggro, and cleric heals him whereas bard provides attack and defense boost. Rogue goes for healers. Against slimes it would've been maybe easier with ranged damage doer instead of bard, but on the other hand more than once I was able to get through a tight spot with his heals and regeneration; especially against bosses doing aoe damage.
Oh, if anyone from Mika Mobile read this post, please, congratulate the art designer guy for making best icon app ever.
I can confirm this as well. 3GS 4.2.1. Straight up iPhone flew right through the boar fight as well. Awesome artwork and animations!
Just wanted to say that this is an extremely fun game. I did however find a glitch, don't know if anyone else has encountered this problem. When I exit the game and then open it back up there is no sound, then when I leave the game and open it up again the sound is on but is very loud and cannot be adjusted (had my volume turned all the way down and the music was still blaring). I am playing on a 32g iphone 3gs. Other than that everything is great. I wish the developer would do what someone else suggested in an earlier post by placing the characters portrait in each corner of the screen so you can select that specific character fast. As stated by many others it is difficult to select a character when they are stacked on top of each other.
I didnt' notice it because I tend to play most of my games with the sound off, but yeah, I lost the sound effects at some point last night. I only noticed that fact because I had to turn off the game at some point, and when I turned it back on the sound was back.
I only had 1 crash so far, and it was on a normal level. Like people have said before if in the next update you could include a way to see your current gear when you go to the merchant, also green and red arrows indicating whether the weapon is stonger or weaker would be awesome! Also can you upgrade skills? Or is there just 1 level per skill?
No crashes for me so far, and I just beat the first boss. How about adding an option in which we can select multiple units at once and send them on a single path?
Just took out the first boss on first attempt with no grinding quite easily. He's not unbalanced at all. Just make sure your melee characters pull all the mobs, then your casters don't get touched, then you just make sure you keep your melee guys healed which wasn't too tough really.
I just beat the slime boss and have had 2 crashes so far, both of them in the Monster Arena around the 40-42 mark, setup is, healer, caster, "rogue" and knight.
I think with the right amount of support and additional content, this game will have a lot of staying power! I think this may be the best game I've ever played. It just needs some refinement, which has been covered pretty extensively by the other posters here.
Mine crashes during the boss fight. It does support multi touch, so you can select two with two fingers if you want. Really fun so far, but a few things really bug me. Like all the menu switching, you should see a comparison in the shop instead. I don't care about naming characters, but it is too difficult to select one when they overlap. I always end up sending my cleric right into a group of monsters when I mean to select the knight. Still enjoying it, just needs a few tweaks to besides the crashing to keep me coming back.
