game is good but it needs a better way to select individual units cuz as of right now, when they are bunched up it is almost impossible to select the one you want. also game crashes randomly so far ive had it crash 5 times in 1.5 hrs of playing. twice at boar boss and three times in other random places. but game is totally cool so far except for what i stated above.

 

Boar boss is crashing for me too.

3GS, 4.2.1. Let's see if we can localize this to a device or firmware.

 

Sorry to hear this. I read reports that it was running well on 2G, but I also have 4.1 and can't upgrade to 4.2 due to issues with iTunes syncing (wish there was a way to upgrade without using iTunes).

 

Absolutely loving the game. Perfect style rpg for a mobile device.

I am playing on an iPhone 3GS and have had no crashes anywhere. Game runs perfectly. I have defeated the slime boss and have progressed a few levels past that.

Also, I love the interface. There are a few times when I wish I could select a character who was behind another one, but that is far and few between. I would NOT trade a more cumbersome interface (with portraits onscreen all the time) for better selection ability. I don't know of an easy solution...

 

Jailbroke 4.1, no crashing issues.

btw, for all you jber's, feb 10th , is supposed to be the release day for the new untethered jb.

 

Personally I think just a little tiny arrow in the bottom left, which you could tap to bring up the 4 portraits, or tap to hide them again would be ideal. The harder levels that require constant micro tends to compound the issue of not easily being able to select your characters in groups, imo, especially when I need to use a timely ability, dodge a bomb, or pull a damaged character out of the fray.

 

Wouldn't that idea also apply to Bug Heroes?

 

Isn't that similar to the way Bug Heroes already works? You tap on the character to pull up a menu to change characters. Also, you're only controlling one character in BH so big difference there.

 

So I played through the first map... but haven't had any new characters in the Tavern for many battles now... The last one I have is the Pirate Garrick... Is this it for the game? Or do more show up later??

 

Yeah, I was also disappointed that you couldn't name your characters. Would be great to see it at some point, but if it never makes it in, I'll live... barely

 

Well, it crashed on me at the Boar Boss too... iPod Touch 4G 32go v4.2.1... I was about to kill it

Btw, another suggestion for next update, please write the class name under the name character in the tavern, I get very confused when trying to hire them...

 

Absolutely Love the Game. Nice attention to detail and it shows.

I would like to see the Keep, merchant and armory all combined some how.. would be much nicer to upgrade characters and swap items that way. Please add Character stats to the keep window.

 

I'm wondering too. I was hoping for one more Bard, Priest, Monk, or Sorcerer. I have two mages, two knights (The Black Knight FTW!), two rogues, and two Berserkers. Maybe we can compare notes and see if that's the same spread everyone else has.

I was expecting at least 1 more priest would show up, but c'est la vie.

 

I'm loving this game but it is crashing on me more and more.

 

I am at the spider boss (on first map?) and I have Knight, Cleric, Black Knight, Rogue, Monk, and Lumberjack/Beserk bought and at the Tavern: Mage, Witch, Bard, Female Rogue, Lady Elven sorceress (female cleric/mage?), and Pirate/Beserk waiting in the tavern.

 

That's the same list as I have. The Elf is another Mage, the Witch is the classification sorceress or enchantress IIRC. Ok, good to know I have them all.

For the record, I'm currently using the Priest, Shepard the Knight, Robyn the Rogue, and the Monk. I'm planning to level up the Pirate, Elven Mage, Bard, and Sorceress more.

 

I turned my iphone 4 off and on again and played the boar level with no crash for the first time.

I am ALL about the Rogues but I got Gustav as well as the two knights and cleric. Maybe I'll swap out my Cleric for a female one to change up the sausage party
