Absolutely LOVE the Paladin, she's level 15 now, good grief it's been a long time ago since I've enjoyed an iPhone game this much (or never).
I love the update. Paladin is just how I imagined her to be in several ways. *Check my paladin description several pages back when it was still on the drawing board* Awesome job Mika .
Would've paid in-app purchase... Mika, Excellent job. I almost wish that you'd have charged for it. I'd have paid it. As much as I love free, monetary incentive to keep going never hurts!
Ranger Misdirection I think the ranger skill misdirection is bugged. It would have been a fantastic replacement for war cry. it's supposed to redirect hostility to the most armored ally right? my paladin has 96 armor and my rogue has 71, but when i use barrage with misdirection, all the enemies rush after my rogue. Any of you guys encounter the same problem? p.s. fantastic update!
Certain passive skills like Sentinel or Combat Tactics might be raising the armor value of your rogue to be higher than it appears on the armory screen. That said, I check on the misdirection logic, and found a small bug which could sometimes cause misdirect to simply fail if your highest armor ally is currently dead. Rather than go to the next best choice, it may just pick someone at random... whoopsie.
thanks for the response! i calculated it, and yeah with combat tactics and sentinel, the rogue's armor ended up a tiny bit higher than my paladin's. Gotta be more careful with Sentinel then..
I'm sure we could have charged for it, but giving it away has its own benefits. In the short term, free content updates tend to lead to a surge of sales due to word-of-mouth. And in the long term, they give people warm fuzzy feelings about your brand, which is valuable in its own way.
Very true.Battleheart and Space minerre bust are the best ios games imo.Both are from indie developers wich seem to grasp the pure essence of awesome gaming.Sadly venon isn't doing as well as mika(c'mon guys,if you ain't got it,download space miner!.they deliver games at a very low price with over 30 hours of casual gameplay ,and a lot more if you want to. Ever since playing battleheart i've been following mika on the spot on twitter and here,and they can be assured that i will buy more stuff of them.Indeed they give me a warm fuzzy feeling. The fact that they give such a high quality and well balanced update,even if they don't have to for such a price,proves their love for gaming even more.I' m starting to babble,sorry Mika Mobile,love from holland!!!!!!!!!
****SPOILERS DON'T READ IF YOU DON'T WANT TO FIND OUT ABOUT THE RANGER PET**** ( I know how some of you QQ about this sort of thing) Mika thank you for the update, it is awesome! I do however have one gripe. Rangers have beasts for pets i.e. Wolves, Panthers, Boars, etc...........not Yorkies LOL. I was so excited to reach level 25 to get my new pet ally and I was OMG I can't wait to see my wolf, then a yorkie appeared on my screen. I was then Just sayin' a more viscious pet would have been appreciated.
Lol, it's actually a scottish terrier! Truth be told, we started off with a wolf, but it was kinda tricky to make one that looked wolf-y and menacing, and still fit the aesthetics of the game. We ended up going the route of the first boss's boar, where the legs are pretty much obscured by fat/fur, and the more we went down that road, the more it looked like a dog instead of a wolf. So we embraced it and went full-on dog. Scotties are pretty vicious though, not sure if you've ever run across one. They'll bite your face off, man.

wow That has to be nice lol I can only play on my lunch and even that is rare.... Hey do you know if the paladin is capable main healing? Like with no cleric can she keep everyone up eventually?
