Really, you can't put 2 and 2 together to figure out that 1) they've been putting what energy they have into an Android port and 2) they've not had much energy to begin with due to "life's curveballs"?
Geez, sorry, didnt mean to offend. I just meant that it would be nice if they checked in here from time to time like they did before.
Need archer now! The skills I want: a hawk/eagle that attacks with him, a full screen aoe arrow rain, a buff that increases crit chance and crit damage, a multiple attack single target skill, elemental arrow (ice for slow, fire for damage), crit chance passive
Yay! Thanks for pointing that out. If executed well, it could be spectacular. And maybe he'd bring co-op to OMG Pirates and Zombieville. Hmmmmm...
Just to clarify, I've just been noodling around with multiplayer and learning some new code/techniques. In all likelihood, I'll apply what I learn to something simpler, like Zombieville, before trying it with Battleheart. In fact, I've been considering going back and giving Zombieville an extreme makeover based on all I've learned in the last 2 years, and co-op could be pretty wicked, we'll see... Also, I feel like I should probably explain where that cute little archer got off to. Frankly, I got seriously burned out on Battleheart recently, working on the same thing for 10-12 months will do that to you, so I've been dabbling with other things recently to reignite my developer juices. I'm not abandoning it by any means, but I feel a little bad about building the expectation of rapid content updates. After a project ships I seem to always go into "R&D mode" for a while, after OMG Pirates I actually spent almost 3 months on a twin-stick space shooter that ultimately got shelved in favor of Battleheart. That project may yet see the light of day, but I learned a lot doing it, and parts of it's design ended up flavoring Battleheart in many ways. Experimentation, prototyping and iteration are just part of the process, so that hopefully whatever we release next will have slow-roasted to perfection. The short version: I'm slow, but its because I care.
