Mmm good luck it's not only the controls that are long to learn but also the overall difficulty is quite high. If you ever succeed finish the campaign, please post it in the game thread and even better make some video.
The campaign itself isn't hard at all. So I challenged myself to try to beat it at the lowest possible level without buying any upgrades or items from shop, using only the items from the rewards. This means I can't grind at a previous level to power up. After 2 days, I managed to make it to the final boss and the most damage I did to him is around 40% health, then my micro slips and everything falls apart. I am using cleric, knight, rogue and witch. The first map was pretty easy, I was able to beat the boar and spider all in one try. The second map was slightly more difficult. The slime took forever to kill and I had to attempt it twice. The golem was much easier since I can just kite him all day long and let others do damage. The third map took a lot more work, each map was a milestone. The mobs hit super hard and my knight can't tank them unless I have the full shield combo (knights shield and clerics shield). Really micro intensive to make it o the final boss. My party is 1 person 20 and the rest around 19 at the final boss. If you want to try this challenge and see how far you can get, that would be great. So the rules are, play each map once only. And you can't buy/upgrade items.
Whoa. Impressive! Cool idea, but man...sounds hard. I've sunk about 50 hours into this game, and I'm fairly sure I couldn't even get past the first map.
50 hours? And still on the first map? You should probably seriously consider changing your lineup. That'll help for sure. Or put more effort actively moving your units around the map. Anyway, my game time is 9 hours. Haven't played in a long while cause I had a backlog of other games to finish. At the same time, I kinda got stuck with the final boss. I needed a little more grinding especially since my team weren't maxed out in their skills yet. But anyway I'm actually just waiting first for a major update.
Just completed your challenge qwergjy I must say it was fun to do. Cleric/knight/witch/monk was my setup all lvl19(just under) bar cleric who just popped 20(he seems to always gain a lot more xp). Most levels were straightforward. Slime boss was quite tough and long fight. Last boss I got on 3rd attempt - biggest problem is rng meteors hitting same characters more than twice which either led to death shortly after or using up all my CDs without enough for surviving adds. Major reason using monk over rogue are much increased survivability (evasion ftw) and wind walk. Can only pre cast 1000palm tho, but worth the overall dps loss. Last boss add phase I use windwalk to attract warriors and evasion near archer while moving witch over to horror for max duration and chance to kill some off. Knight I dropped warcry and intimidate for more dps and there seems to be a bug with intimidate unable to fear any of the adds. Cleric using passion and guardian angel makes most sence with low level and aoe damage gping on. Other than that the issue with lass boss pushing characters off screen bug still wrecking havoc especially with adds.
No, no. I mean I have played a total of 40+ hours (thought it was 50...not quite yet) and am an experienced Battleheart player....and yet I'm not very good! So if I started a new save to take the challenge, I'm fairly sure I'd have a ton of trouble getting past the first map without replaying levels. Then again, I also suck at video games in general, so...
Just done another little challenge- last boss with no healers, healing ability or life leech abilities All my toons are lvl52-54 Edit - no leech trinket either and no death
Have you done this? Pretty impressive. My only Battleheart claim to fame is that I got to 104 waves in Doomvale arena with only three characters. (Bard, Witch and Knight) I haven't been able to repeat that feat...and I was kinda stoned when I did it.
Anything over 100 is great achievement. With 3 characters is very impressive. Able to do anything while stoned is nothing short of epic!
Yup.. my bad. Sorry about that. I actually went past the first map without grinding but doing it on the second map will already be quite challenging. I wonder if the delay in the update is because MikaMobile decided to make it a gigantic update with more than one new class and several levels and side quests.
Wow....While counting days till next update and after much thought and hard work, i've finally cracked the way to solo last boss Edit: 2ways and the other class made me giggle
Haha. Yeah, when I'm sober, I suck at video games. When I'm intoxicated, I suck BAD at video games...95% of the time. But the other 5%? Straight, friggin' ZONE. I don't get it. I really don't. So, clearly, further investigation is needed.
