Kinda, but I'd say it's more sequel than remake. There's some returning classes/skills, but also some new ones, about a 50/50 split. Same story with our enemies, you'll see familiar faces but there are some new ones too and changes to existing ones, and all of our bosses are new. Gear/skill system is completely different and far more detailed.

Necromancer ftw. Once you unlock his passive skills, his minions become really strong.

Is there a ranger class? I loved that from Battleheart (original)

I'm using Shadow Knight, Cleric, Samurai, and Bloodweaver. Really enjoying them! But I love how you can just switch characters whenever you want so I'll be testing a bunch out.

Not yet, but they're in my planned expansion. The tentative idea is to drop a group of 4 heroes with some missing oldies (monk tank, ranger) and a couple newer ones (healing druid, some kind of melee such as ninja or mage knight from legacy) sometime later this year.

Thanks for the reply ‘Mika’ looking forward to the addition content. Keep up the good work! Let’s give these guys 5* reviews on the AppStore. Worth that and more.

Great game! Starting out, I'm liking November's blizzard and Natsuko's blade rush.

Anyone know how multiplayer works? I just clicked on it and it showed me connected to the server but I'm not sure what to do after that.

It's using some sort of friend code system.

Player 1 clicks on the "Multiplayer" button in the main menu and enters a room name and waits in the main menu for other players to join.

Other players click the Multiplayer button as well and enter the same room number.

All players pick their heroes and remove heroes from their roster until 4 heroes in total are enabled accross all players.

When everyone's ready, player one can start a battle and pick any battle he/she normally can choose in single player.

So yeah, you need to share an actual code. Technically it works online but it's designed for local multiplayer. Which kinda makes sense because on the harder levels communication is key and voice chat never really caught on.

First time playing Battleheart, looks great, nice job Mika!

The classes are interesting and fun to switch around, already excited for the expansion content.

Regarding multiplayer, are you able to use your existing characters with their skills & equipment and bring what you earn in multiplayer back to your single player game?
