Just as I thought. Found some video reviews and first impression is that the UI gets in the way of game play on such a small screen. After 1st impression: the more I watch the better it looks. I'm getting it. That's really great ! There's also the codex, you can access it in game pretty much whenever you want if you have any doubt about a rule, a ship, the UI,... Everything is in there ! Hope it'll help
