Yeah.....I'm giving up. Several weeks ago it was "this spring." When asked when in the spring = we don't know. When asked weeks? Months? It was we don't know. When asked if there's a beta = we don't know. It's probably coming some day but i'm not going to try and follow. There's no news to be had and I doubt, really doubt, it'll be super soon. Best of luck to these guys, it looks to be a neat project. But my excitement has waned simply because it feels like something that went from "any day" to "some day."
Gotta agree with saansilt, here. One of the downfalls of a great game is trying to smash your way to a deadline. I am perfectly ok,with a "It will be out when it comes out" thought process. It shows respect to the gamers, rather than saying it will be out on x date and then delivering a piece of sh!t game. Take your time guys...and deliver us a game to remember!
Hi everyone, Thank you for your encouragement and we're sorry for not being able to deliver you more precise informations regarding our release date... The reason for this is simple and obvious, as saansilt and Glenn42 said (and that's why we didn't fixed a clear date in the first place): Game development is not easy, and specially when you're an young indie studio. We are a team of 6 people facing new challenges, making adjustments, testing everything and fixing bugs every day ! It takes time and since we announce the game, fans are impatient to play the game. But we really don't want to launch an unfinished game. In the meantime, I'll try to show you a bit of the game. Thanks a lot !
Also firmly in the "take your time" camp here Don't rush things, and don't let some folks with entitlement issues discourage you. Better wait a bit a longer for a better game, those aren't build in a day. Other than that, the suggestion to do a beta - be it public or closed - is definitely a good one. Thought for the day: Perseverance and silence are the highest virtues. And praise be to the Omnissiah, who provides us His blessed machines to wage this war on.
