    I agree... I dread seeing them. Them and their bloody "Always Braced for Impact" rule. Though I just looked it up, and the point cost does match the point cost from the board game.

    At least the lack of turrets makes them highly vulnerable to Assault Craft.


    Anyone know if the game applies the "grab" rule for Claws from the board game?

    Good effort on the updates. A lot of kudos for listening to the player base and making this available on more devices and also for allowing you to leave the app and not lose your battle. There are definite improvements to the AI, especially on the offensive use of torpedoes. But there's still a bit to do on the defensive front:
    - squadrons still brace when it doesn't make sense. eg, when a wave of 6 torpedoes has hit and killed 2 ships and is down to one torp hitting a third ship. eg, when its my last weapons battery of the turn firing 2 dice against an undamaged squadron of 6 escorts, all in good position to lock on and blast me to oblivion.
    - I can snipe tyranid escort ships from the far side of the battlefield with torpedoes. Sometimes they move directly into their path, and not in the way they would from a failed synapse control.
    - I'm yet to be boarded by a hiveship, even when my damaged battleship is ripe for the kill.

    I agree with the earlier comment about the monotony of the non-story battles. The low point levels lead to repetitive battles. I understand why you did this, it helps people learn the game and it speeds up the campaign. It also forces you to fight those battles to give yourself a real chance of surviving. It might be cool to have specific officers you could assign to fleets, to give you a better chance in those battles on the campaign map, without having to fight them.
    The reward cards are a great system. However, having 3 Admirals for no points cost really tips the scales in the players favour. I think it might be worth making some of these cards have a point value, to make them a real choice. It'd also enhance multiplayer a little bit, if you could have points assigned so people could customise their fleets more. You also used to be able to purchase rerolls in the tabletop game, but I do like the campaign mechanic of not having many.

    I'm glad to have the players online tracker, but I've not seen it above 1 yet, normally its 0. Where are the players? In all likelihood I think this is because you've made the single player campaign so compelling and good fun that that is what people are normally doing, and a multiplayer battle is bigger time commitment. Likewise we don't have a space to organise multiplayer games. Perhaps you could set up a forum thread somewhere, specifically for players to set up matches, you could put a link to it on your multiplayer screen maybe?

    Thank you all for the feedbacks, I reported them to the dev team.

    About the multiplayer: Thing is that we have some players (not as much as Clash of Clans for example) around the world, people aren't connected at the same time... And yeah, the thread for matchmaking was an idea ! What do you think about a Facebook Group ? Isn't that something you use quite easily ?

    Well, I finished the campaign today. Anyone else?
    Was a good engaging experience. A lot of the battles I don't have the 2nd objective on, which gives it some nice replay ability. The end video was a decent pay off. Good to see who the next faction is going to be. When are they coming? (they were a total nightmare to face on the tabletop back in the day)
    Thanks for a great game. Now I just need me some multiplayer.

    Yup. A lot of fun.
    I planning on going through it again, pretending I don't have the LD ("Leader"?) cards.

    (The option to remove some or all of those LD cards might be a good way to create a higher difficulty level.)

    I was really surprised - a good choice, though. Keep 'em coming, Grand Cauldron! (You guys are in Lyon? In your honor, I will now go eat a pig.)

    Keep it up!

    Still having lots of fun with this game. Yes there are a few things to improve (the non-story missions are a bit repetitive) but overall this is proof that a faithful adaptation of a tabletop game can work really well on a tablet

    I'm hoping you guys are doing ok financially with this, so that we can see some expansions soon! :D

    This game is pretty fun... makes me wish Fantasy Flight Games made a Star Wars X-Wing Miniatures app.

    Finished! That last battle was legendary!

    Interesting choice for the next fleet. Given that you've already coded the sun direction mechanics I was kind of expecting the Eldar but these guys should be fun too!

    When can we expect the expansion?? :confused::confused::D

    Howdy everyone,
    I am new here, nice to meet all of you guys.
    Two questions;
    Can anuone tell me what is there any possibility to play bfg pvp without logging for the group linked above, as I have no Facebook?

    Second, can two people play online pvp with one of them having Android device and the other having ios or are they not compatible?

    Yes there is, but since there's not that many players online at any given time it can be hard to find a player unless you coordinate beforehand

    Nova cannon

    Quick rules question - does going on Target Locked have any effect on Nova Cannons, e.g. less likelihood or probability of scatter? I've seen this in some of the online rules compendia for the TT game, but not clear whether official or home brew
