Don't hesitate to report them if you can (you can do it at [email protected]) ! Great, thanks again for the feedbacks ! I'll add it with the multiplayer chat to the asked features, but as I said: It's a big improvement and we're not sure if we can implement it in the game. But we'll surely at least think about it! That's really weird indeed, you may have find a bug. I've reported it to the dev team. PS: Thanks everybody for your support! We're really glad that many of you enjoy playing our game and hearing you say that it's a great adaptation of the tabletop game... And thanks again for helping us improve the game by reporting bugs, typo and ideas of improvements ! You're awesome and the Emperor is pleased.
Good to see such rapid and frequent response for you guys. I've noted a couple more things: - I always win the initiative in the campaign. Every game except some missions. I don't think I should always get to choose 1st or 2nd. - the AI braces at very strange times. For example, when being hit with one torpedo in their movement phase, when the whole unit of escorts in moving forward to unleash a pyro acid salvo. Or when i'm firing with less dice than can break shields. Cheers and keep it up.
Hey everyone, Just released the patch 1.0.3 : Battles are now saved at the start of each sub-phase in Campaign, Skirmish and Hotseat modes. You can leave the game and continue the battle later! After a Game Over, the campaign continues with a standard setting depending on the chapter reached In battles during campaign, if one side gets all its ships destroyed, the battle ends. If the player is victorious, both objectives are completed unless a must-protect ship has already been destroyed Improve AI torpedoes Improve AI focusing fire Cruisers with Nova Cannons in squadron are now each able to fire Secure Asphodex deployment area has been fixed The cost of some ship cards have been reviewed Ships' Leadership when checking cards on the campaign's map is now calculated correctly Fix Ordnance sub-phase freezes Fix Boarding activation Fix All is Lost / Brace for Impact text Have Fun !
Right on! Thank you!!! That mid-game save has pushed me over the edge... just bought this. Now I just gotta finish up Teeny Titans so I can delete it and make some room for this. I'm excited... =oD
Ok I love turn based strategy games, but don't know much about warhammer 40k. Is that a huge problem , ie should I buy? Thanks guys. And is it very difficult to figure out? Thanks
It helps to understand the lore as it helps immersion, but the game can be played without prior knowledge. As it uses some rare special lingo it is helpful to use the ingame codex a lot to understand what is happening on screen.
Just into tutorial. Have grasped most of it but still cant work out the torpedo launch part. Seems every time you move you have to release a salvo of torpedoes even though they are not facing an enemy. By that I mean don't have one in the path of the torpedoes. Loving it so far but can't work that one out.
Hey Psychor, no it's not supported! You're not obligated to launch your torpedoes, you can cease fire whenever you want or just chose not to launch them.
There is a button on the bottom left edge (between the "Skip to next ship" in the corner and the "Codex Button" in the middle)to skip the shooting phase for that ship. So you don't have to fire your Torpedoes unwillingly. This button only shows in the shooting phase (much like the "disengage button" only shows in the movement phase on the same spot)
I wound up deleting a bunch of pictures to make room for this... but I just got done with the tutorial stages and am getting ready to jump into the campaign before trying any MP. But before all that, I wanted to say that this looks INCREDIBLY promising. I really didn't think it would be as deep as it is, tactically. I'm super excited... and already am very glad that I wound up purchasing this... =oD
It's really exciting to see such a chunky update already. I started playing when I bought it last week when it appeared in the Hot List. The game is much deeper than I expected. Not even sure what I expected but it's clearly priced very kindly for the effort that went into the game and appears to be still going into it. I'll try to post some actual impressions after I dig into it tonight.
Loving the game so far. Are there any plans for expansions? Maybe more factions? Will they be IAPs or free updates?
Hello! I'm really enjoying the game, and the patch included exactly what I would have asked for. I hope for expansions. I've a bug to report, though, with the "The Heroes of Telemachus" mission. Game locks up on Enemy's turn 3 every time. (Several restarts from map - I haven't reset the campaign.) It gets a little wonky the turn before, however, with the game failing to automatically select the next ship, and (IIRC) every ship needs to use the "Will not be firing" button. Also: The Transport Escort is unarmed.
Definately a perfect translation of table to mobile. I'm really glad ya'll pulled this off. Would you guys have any plans to ground skirmishes in a future game, ie 40k on a virtual tabletop? *Innocent whistling*
Oh no trust me, I love scifi Navy battles. Battles amongst the purple stained void as it callously ignores the echoes of those lost and the heroisms of those oh so very small relative to it are one of my favorite things in science fiction. This game is absolutely awesome which is why I hope the devs do a ground based game. They really made a virtual tabletop, it feels like I can up and play the game with models should I ever have them. If you guys make expansions for this I suggest the Necrons, Eldar, and chaos. Let's see a choronicle of the war in heaven, the tragic fall of craftworld Iyaden, and the cadian fleet's heroic stand against Abbadon's 12th black crusade.
