Those of you who haven't been on a hardcore server have to try it. It can net you thousands of points.
The last game we played I got like 14 medals!!!!! Hardcore is just that - Hardcore!... might be my favorite mode now...
Heck yeah man. I managed like 10 medals. The medic on hardcore is the best though, especially on defense.
Pre ordered my copy from gamestop...so who ever else did we'll have to play squad rush together before it goes public
Don't know exactly what a Hardcore sever is but ok... I did some stuff last night where I took out 2 light tanks 1 transport thing ( does a front flip if you shoot it with an rpg) 2 t80's and two blackhawks (stolen) And a bunch of other people with my scar and knife wow that was fun gonna get this one with a mic hopefully hit me up on psn name is UndeadZed1 and god is t nice to be back at TA
Hardcore mode is a server setting, basically it removes your ammo counter (So you have to keep track yourself), No map, No spotting enemies, and damage is doubled... It's a totally different experience, somewhat frustrating but can also net you tons of more points then on a normal server....
No your 100% right, that's where I was getting pissed off last night, continually getting camper killed?! VERY FRUSTRATING!!! But once you start moving and sweeping and keep the momentum going it's not much of an issue...
Yeah, %^&*ing campers kind of ruin it for me at points. But brian's right; run like heck, kick some butt, and they can't get a bead on you. Best moment was when I sniped some guy with a headshot while he was in the helicopter. Needless to say it crashed.
I think Branes and Nobles made a screw-up with that $20 standard edition pre-order through Gamestop... oh, and the new trailer kicks butt.
honestly half the enjoyment of this game is from the audio. I love hearing "B's TAKING DAMAGE! LET PWN THOSE MOTHER F#%$&@S!" also the stories you get from it are awesome
Good thing I searched before making a new thread. So, since the demo is over now, are you guys still getting this? Mine is completely pre ordered for PS3. Come march 2nd, I'm gonna be playing this like crazy. By the way, the squad rush thing may be exclusive, but so long as the host has it and chooses it, the hosts friends who don't have it can play it before it goes public. My PSN is Bluellama1 if anyone wants to play, I need 2 more people to have the full four people on a squad.
I'm broke. I had $50, but there were albums on iTunes I couldn't find on LimeWire... I've had it in my queue for a while, though, so I might get my hands on it in the coming couple of months, if I can put down Borderlands, that is.
That sucks, there is a lot of good games that have come out that I've missed for the same reason, though.
