Microsoft can't do anything about it. It's their legal obligation because of the ESRB. I knew I should've set me birthdate to 1980 or something.
This demo=awesome. The sheer size of the map is astounding. You move a little slow compared to other FPS games, but on the whole, it's great. Love the fact that camping is not an issue in this game.
**** YES. if you make a new profile with xbl you can make it a silver membership [so you don't have to pay] but you can download the demo. and since it's on your hard drive you can play with your main account. im gonna be playing all night :3
Yeah, read that trying to find a work around. Not sure if I'll play tonight, though. So much work I gotta get through first, and a gb'll take a while to download.
Been playing 8 hours straight... Best Battlefield I have played to date! haven't seen the console version, but on PC this looks absolutely amazing!!!! Here's a video of me waxin a few peeps!
Don't see why it wouldn't, I'm running on a laptop w/ Corei7 ATI 512 mb HD4570 4 gb ram, and I am getting about 35-40 FPS on medium settings... The physics of the battle are just amazing! There is a hitch where the game tries to run in DX10 automatically, dropped my framerate to about 25 FPS but once I config'd to run in dx9 it bumped the FR up to 35-40 avr.
As long as it keeps the jokes and funny characters then I'll get it. I aslo saw a flag in the video, an element of the PC version BF 1942 I liked - taking over bases. Graphics look nice aswell, all the smoke effects add nice atmosphere.
The physics and sound is what makes this game.... Totally amazing... Yea the beta only has one map (rush mode), but the retail ver. will have classic BF capture the flag as well...
