Try a different class. If you can't get any kills, be a medic and concentrate on healing people for a while.
this is sooooo hard compared to mw2 and bioshock 2, after fully completing mw2 i thought this would be a breeze.... well EA games sure proved me wrong.
You just gotta find out what you're good at. If you keep getting killed in the middle of the battlefield then grab a sniper and hide around the edges. I get through quite a few matches without any bullets flying in my direction at all.
This game is MUCH different from COD type of games, while that would be more of an arcade shooter, "Battlefield" is more of a BF sim of sorts... while in COD K/D ratios were much more important, in BF the only thing that matters is teamwork and finishing the objective, whether that be holding the points on a map or blowing up the m-com stations... Try not to think about dying 10 times as a bad thing, if your in the hsit then it's really inevitable, and you will die at some point anyways. Just concentrate on helping your team where they are lacking... I can't tell you how many times I start a match to snipe and notice that there is only one or 2 guys actually trying to capture points... So I have to compensate and go assault or medic for a bit to try and even out the team....
EA.com is as shit as ever. It's been pissing people off for about what, 6 years or something? Every time I click something I need to sign in again, apparently my PSN ID persona has been taken (and it definitely hasn't), there's no way to recover it and so the whole "Battlefield Veteran" thing won't work. Screw you EA.
Says that they could not find me a game or the server is full...anyone else having problems playing online?
On the Dice/EA forums they talked about having to upgrade the servers. Pretty lame it's opening weekend when they do it...
at least they had them up and running at launch... Anyway just got the battlefeild expert trophy so I am goona take a breat for a few hours
I just got the PC version and it was a bit of a letdown, there were some annoying black and white boxes that made the game almost unplayable but I managed to find a solution into fixing it, the PC also has some multiplayer issues and I got kicked from a game with Punkbuster(common issue). DICE should really have spent some time polishing it up.
I'm always getting kicked by punkbuster I'm all for anticheating (I hope aimbots and wallhacks won't ruin this game like in MW2) and I hope EA fixes this ASAP
Starting to have issues with the servers on my ps3... which is weird since it took what a day for it to show up? and apparently EA is say that they did not anticipate its populaity and these are EA servers but still...
Just did a mostly 2vs2 match on conquest and it was in intense. I think I liked it more than the large scale battles because it gives us time to chat since barely anyone in squads use Mics (in my experience)
I was googling the issue and I found a solid fix (At least for me). Basically go to the launcher and right click it, then select 'Run As Administrator' and then it should be fine, no more problems for me.
I've had a couple of server disconnects on PS3, lost my recent score/unlocks. Nothing too bad though, I was still able to play happily all last night. The in-game store thing still wasn't fixed though. I remain happy about the whole affair. I wasn't expecting to enjoy the game so much, goodbye MW2.
Yea the PC has had it's fair share of issues with the EA servers, but overall this has to be one of, if not THE most intense online FPS I've ever played... There's something about having an entire open battlefield with buildings and everything, and by the time a match is finished there is literally nothing left aside from the barren landscape and a few points to take cover... Destructible environments indeed! So far I really enjoy playing as a medic or recon, The mortar strikes come in handy, especially after your team activates an M-com station. I love watching 4 baddies rush in to defuse it only to have my steel rain pour down on them!!!
