I was on the brink about getting this, but now I definatly am. Ima get it off ebay though, so I wont have it for a week or two but now im tempted to go to gamestop and spend the extra10-20 bucks if they have it limited edition
Direct quote from DICE Developer btw: "PC currently has more people playing and are in game servers than both the consoles." Someone said something about PC gaming dying?
I really thought about getting the console version but since I have a gaming PC to run this bought that version instead. It's not for the more precise controls or graphics but more because I'm not really a fan of the online console community. Also if I ran into someone "unpleasant" on the PC version or just don't feel like using a mic I could at least chat through the keyboard to get some sort of communication going on. It was frustrating enough playing with 3 other people without mics in L4D 2 on the 360 and I don't want to experience something that ever again
I guess I was knocked into a daze of brief stupidity by the avalanche of PC exclusives. Of course they'd mention it (if they really said it, quotes usually come with a source link for verification), because it's a freak occurrence these days Of course this is by no means solid proof, but looking at the GameFAQs boards for each version shows 149 pages for the 360 version, 77 for PS3 and 54 for PC. As one of the most popular websites/game forums on the internet it's usually a decent indication of which games/versions are getting the most interest. This discussion is pointless anyway, I never said I hated PC gaming, I even do a bit of it myself. This is just a case of me sayin' what I see.
I hope you enjoy Operation Flashpoint more than I did, it's the only game in my entire life that I've returned the very next day. I wanted a sim shooter and it seemed the best available, but man was it buggy... literally the very first mission had an enemy sitting in the front seat of a vehicle, staring right at me and not reacting at all. I shot him once... no reaction. Killed the gormless idiot and decided the game wasn't for me.

I'm grateful. I'm not gonna argue on this topic anymore either (assuming no blatant flames come my way). Do you have the game? I started playing today and was kinda sucking until I switched to sniper, then I went a few rounds without any deaths and a decent number of kills. ...and nine dogtags
Really? I have played the first 3 missions and so far I am loving it. The only glitch that I have encountered is a dead enemy having a fit on the ground, which is a pretty common occurrence in other shooting games. I love the realism to it, I am enjoying it much more than COD: MW2.
Good to know it was worth your money I found it kinda confusing as well, I'm sure half the stuff it asks you to do isn't even explained in the manual. Maybe I'm just not tactical enough for such realism.
NO big deal, BUT i did have 21 medals (including dog tags) and over 6,000 points not too long ago. rush on arica harbor. my M24 raped
JC2 demo left alot to be desired for me it was a demo but they want to show the game off the failed to do that for me so I will be SOCOM 4 (by the guys who did 1,2 and MAG) but that's a ways off
I'm so bad at this game I'm only used to playing games like Left 4 Dead online and vs modes is a whole new ballpark
