Anyone still looking forward to it? After the release of MW2, I'm guessing there's hardly any hype. To me, the fact that you can actually drive vehicles and fly aircraft holds my interest, and apparently, the main focus will be on multiplayer.
I loved 1943, but this just looks eh. After MW2 I really don't have any interest in this game. I was in the multiplayer beta and the frame rate was just hurrendous had to be like 15 fps.
I think most hardcore 1942 fans are more looking for to Battlefield 3, which is supposedly coming next year too. BC2 is the spinoff title I believe and 3 will be part of the main series.
The first one was probably my favourite war game. It's nice how laid back it is, with the light heartedness. Definitly getting 2nd one.
Idk bout you guys.. but I think the graphics and gameplay look awsome.. unless im seeing somethin different. This game looks like its going to be great.
Yeah, I think it looks absolutely amazing. I'm still picking up MW2 this weekend, though. It's the game everyone I know is playing, so if I want multiplayer with people I know in real-life, I don't really have much of a choice. I'll be renting BF:BD2 at the very least and see if it's worth having another war game in my library, though. No idea why Infinity Ward didn't make destructible environments.
