From the hands-on video, they don't beat Infinity Blade, but they are still at the level set for fps games by Gameloft. The amount of geometry on screen at one time is good and the textures are sharp. In particular the gun models and vegetation look excellent. They also appear to be using some type of bloom/HDR on walls, which is to be expected, but most notably also appear to be using HDR to adjust your vision why you move indoors or to bright outdoors which is pretty unique for an iOS game. The enemy threat detection AI seems pretty dumb given how close you can get to them before they notice, but once they engage, their evasion AI seems decent. The game also seems to have good smoke effects using particles so it doesn't look as much like sheets of grey.
The I Word is a jailbreak application that allows one to pirate iPhone apps. No they aren't strict here at all. On ipodtouchfans you can get banned for even talking about piracy in the abstract.
With good reason. When people start mentioning piracy on their forums, it gives jailbreaking a bad name. The jailbreaking and the piracy communities have been fighting for a while.
Yeah but the character animations and physics seem terrible. Also the amount of detail is really low.
I'm sorry but I know at least 8 people who are jailbroken and pirate... so I'm pretty sure that majority of jailbreakers have done it at least once... Come on? Not even to try it?... Anyways I can't wait for this to come out, just hope the online is fun with 4 people... =(
