It's not so much that you cannot trust IGN. It's just that mobile gaming exists as an after-thought to IGN. They do not take it seriously. I mean, they combined Andriod, Windows 7, and the iPhone into a single section. How lame and disrespectful is that?

 

I'm thinking EA might release this the same day as the Vietnam map pack. Kill two birds with one stone mentality. That would be December 18 for PC, December 21 for consoles.

 

I'm thinking that this comes out around the same time as Bad Company 3.

 

I'm thinking that this will come out as the same time as the iDevice version of Tiger Woods 2011.

 

So after reading the slide2play article on this game (http://www.slidetoplay.com/story/battlefield-bad-company-2-hands-on-preview) im really dissapointed... 4 player online? and the only thing different is the brand? ridiculous. the only reason i like battlefield badcompany is because of the online. the singleplayer has always sucked, and they know it.

The new screenshots look a lot better (although still not great), and STP claims that the game will be released later this month.

 

Looks more detailed than MC2. I hope it has more maps

 

Exactly as i stated at the beginning of this thread! The photo resolution has been lowered or less pixels. This is much better than modern combat 2 basically because of the story mode, but im not that happy with multiplayer , maybe in some updates theyll add more modes unless they want the final version to have 5 vs 5

 

No rush = subpar game

I had hopes, but I guess this will be just like every other shooter now. Back to the consol.

 

Final version will be 2 v 2. Which is NOT team deathmatch. And nowing EA it won't get updates of that maginitude. They even stated, brand is only thing that is different than MC2... uhhh what is with that? Thats really dissapointing, i could care less about the better graphics if the gameplay is not nearly as good. Even if they nail everything, the multiplayer will be a big bummer.

 

Agreed. BFBC2 is a team-based game, so 4 players in multiplayers mode is definitely not enough.

 

Looks quite fine. But i probably wont rush to buy this, just because its 'Bad Company 2'. Just doesn't look like EA are giving a dam or they are just not capable of developing an 8+ multiplayer, good graphic game.

 

Only 4 person multiplayer? That's a bummer.

At least there are still vehicles, but I guess we'll see whether or not they will make it to multiplayer.

 

the graphics look better than MC2 IMO and here's hoping for a better storyline as well... I can feel it coming next week (just a prediction though)

In my opinion. And I think it's stupid to use IMO without knowing what IMO means IMO.

 

Eh.. the only thing keeping me from wanting this is the 4-person multiplayer :S
