No video's yet, I am sorta excited for this, but no iPhone EA ports have been good, so I am also weary. I think they would release it this year, and considering the dead-zone in the app store around christmas, I think we may see it sooner, rather then later. Then again, if it doesn't come out before the holiday's, all bets are off
I wouldn't say that all EA ports are bad. I actually enjoyed Skate It a lot despite its originally awful controls, which they thankfully fixed in an update. The Need for Speed games are actually pretty fun too, and Dead Space 2 and Hot Pursuit look like they'll be a ton of fun.
Yeah I love the console version and while I'm waiting for it I will play Need For Speed Hot Pursuit that comes out tomorrow ! Nice week ! Next week NOVA and by the end of the month Battlefield !
There is no link ;P Its just a rumor, Gameloft started a contest a while ago and next week this contest finishes and rumor says that the end of the contest will be the release of the game for iPhone/iPod Touch Its just a rumour !!!
Yes EA announced a November release for Battlefield Bad Company 2. I don't think it will be like Vietnam ;P Vietnam is an addon for Battlefield Bad Company 2. The iOS version of Battlefield Bad Company 2 is a port of the original game without addons and map packs. But I hope they'll include them later ;P

Port may be a strong word. They cannot possibly hope to replicate the full Battlefield Multiplayer experience on the iOS platform. The maps, for example, will clearly not be the same. They will be downsized and I imagine downsized significantly. They must. There will be way less players. Who knows what the status will be in terms of vehicles and/or destructable environments. I doubt they'll be as many guns/perks/attachments. I suspect the leveling system would be more watered down then the console verision. However, it's a complete "port" in the sense that it will come with a full single-player campaign (Somewhere between 13-15 levels, I believe) and some form of MP, although the MP portion of the iDevice version of BC2 has yet to be elaborated upon.
It's obviously not going to be an actual port. It'll be a dumbed down copy that's based on the console game. Just like NFS: Hot Pursuit. Although I still think it'll be a good game.
Yeah, I'm sorry, a "port" was too strong. The actual version of BBC2 has 13 missions, so it corresponds to the number indicated by EA. Concerning the Multiplayer I think they won't iclude everything, just like I said but hey you only have 4 modes and had 5 maps at the beginning so compared to Modern Combat 2 I could imagine the same amount of content as the basic version of Battlefield Bad Company 2. I hope it includes the Conguest mode in MP, that would be AWESOME ! No Deathmatch, Capture the flag, I want Rush !
