Battlefield 3, is anyone going to buy it?

Definitely. Did you see the newest trailer? Graphics on the PC version are amazing. Better than Crysis IMO. Will be great on my rig.

 

Crysis is in Beta as well, this is pre-alpha footage. I kind of wanna see it on PS3 and 360, too.

 

Damn that gameplay looks amazing. The graphics are crazy good. I just need to convince all my friends to buy this instead of COD.

Too early to tell. On consoles most likely yes, but on PC probably not, especially mods like Real Lifesis are updated for Crysis 2.

 

Crysis 2 is near complete, Battlefield 3 doesn't come out until this fall, so time will tell.

 

Screw the specs and mods, it's the game design that'll push one into the lead. My bet is on BF3 being better although sales might be equal.

I just noticed that when the player's on the bridge picking off the men, they try to take cover, taking the closest object. And if it blows up before they get there, they find new cover.

 

I remember reading about AI like that around 4-5 years ago. Taking cover is old!
