Call of Duty 4 didn't suck. Neither did 2 come to think of it. They weren't specifically trying to sell to every son of a b**** on the planet back then.
I didn't like MW2. I loved MW1 and WaW (Yes, that's right I liked it a lot!) but MW2 and BO were lame. I like BO more than MW2 though. That game was terrible for me.
Thanks for stealing my thread, I love how I make a thread and no one look at it and months later someone posts the same thread and it gets 100's of replies.
Months later we care about the game because there's more info and it's closer to release. You've only got yourself to blame for bad timing.
Confirmed 24 player for consoles (Official Playstation Battlefield forums). 64 player for PC (<------SEE THE DIFFERENCE?). Meh, but I'll get it. Love the Battlefield series.
...one is a higher number? It's never really affected my enjoyment though. 24 people is enough for an action-packed battlefield.
I'm just used to higher numbers like Warhawk (32) and MAG (up to 256). I'm not saying anything is wrong, but it would've been nice to have bigger numbers than BFBC2, especially since it's rumored that the maps will be bigger.
Well yeah, if you can have more you might as well go with it. Lower numbers have never stopped me loving a game though
Yeah, never stopped me from playing BFBC2 nonstop. Also because of the animation and Frostbite 2.0. Dang, the game's gonna be beautiful.
I hope BF3 brings more recognition to the brand. CoD obviously did something right to earn its status, even if we are all getting bored of it, but it's about time people started to realise there's more to FPS and multiplayer than the one series. It seems a lot of the slightly more casual players were drawn into CoD believing it was the only good shooter out there.
I'll buy it definatly! I started playing BF since BF2 and I'll continue to do so. Hope my computer is able to handle it The trailers looks great.
Most casual gamers I know seem to be branching out and trying different shooters, like BC2 for example. It's not just CoD and Halo anymore (and it never was) CoD knocked Battlefield off of its perch and BF is coming back with a vengeance!
