Battlefield 3, is anyone going to buy it?

not me, but it's a great game (a friend of mine bought it so i played a little at his place)

 

Mind-blowing. Just started Operation Guillotine and finished the mission just prior to it (being a fighter pilot).

EPIC.

 

I played the first three co-op missions with a new Xbox Live friend and it was HILARIOUS. Here's how the heli mission went:
Me: Let's do this.
DarkStormShadow: Alright, here we go.
Me: WAIT. NO. PULL UP.
DSS: I can't! Dammit, this son of a--
*BEEP* *BEEP* *BEEP* *BOOM*
That's how the first five rounds went until DSS finally got the hang of it and we finished the level.

 

Loving the multiplayer... as expected. Last night I was in a squad with my friend (and using Skype for voice chat until Dice fix some stuff) and saw him exchanging fire with a guy while I was flying over in my jet. Managed to swoop down right in front of him and steal his kill

 

still can't play because battlelog says i need to update the game, but origin says the game is up to date.. I tried reinstalling both the game and origin, with no luck :/

 

Damn, I've been having so many great moments playing this. Whether it was arming the m-com station, setting down my machine gun with bipod, and mowing down half of the other team, or blowing up the side of a builiding to get rid of some snipers, who both ended up flying gracefully out the window. Such epic times.

I've found out that attack helicopters can be quite effective if used well, especially against enemy tanks.

I'm interested to know, what are your guy's favorite maps to play on? I really like playing on Kharg Island and Operation Sandstorm right now.

Also, does anyone want to co-op with me on pc?

I can't kill a damned thing in the Jets or the helicopter...starting to piss me off because I need to earn those missiles. Im not a huge fan of how they designed this vehicle upgrade system.

im not going to anymore. amazon gave me a standard edition instead of a limited edition (which i preordered) and now ill just get uncharted 3.

Oh yeah, and does anyone know where I can get the order in which you unlock weaponry and gear?

 

I preordered on origin for the weapons (physwarfare pack) and my buddy gave me keys for limited edition dogtags and specact camo. So I have pretty much all the DLC. I don't know that you can get any of the DLc after launch unless they make it available later this year.

 

I did and got my limited edition back lol.

Umm battlelog has a list by exp, but you might try the bf wiki.

 

I wish I never checked .___. Level 40 for the P90 seems like a long way to go.

And I just saw the scoped magnum and started laughing. It kind of looks ridiculous (Level 44).

 

Doesn't battlelog have an iphone app? If so, I can't find it.

 

Yeah I purchased it the day it came out. GameStop had a deal where you could get $60 off any other game or pre-order when you traded in two games so I got the coupon and applied it towards my Skyrim pre-order and traded in two games I bought at a local flea market for $15 total....so Skyrim for $15.

Also ended up signing up for a Gold membership again because I haven't had one for over a year now. Got the deal on the dashboard, $9.99 for 3 months of gold.

 

Just checked the app store last night. On the battlelog login it it shows what looks to be an iPhone running battlelog. I'm guessing it's either in approval, or it's only for android.

 

This ^ x like 10,000. Where is it!!!!!
