Holy crap that looks amazing! Finally, another awesome game to push the capabilities of my new 6s! Can't wait to try this!
Just played 3 missions on an iPad Air 2, it's amazing! Controls seems weird but after a while, it works !!!!
*Sigh* Not buying a controller just for one game. Sounds like you played without a controller. Does "weird" translate to "unusual, needs getting used to", or to "as bad Nekky says"?
The only controls that feel "weird" are when in the drone transformation, and for me it was only a momentary adjustment. Everything else works as one would expect. There are control settings and accelerometer toggle for steering in the menu. I haven't hooked up my moga rebel yet, but plan to do so in a bit. Oh and I've had several multiplayer matches, not fully occupied, but people are playing. And it's fun! Now...@Atypical.. THIS GAME IS BESUTIFUL!
People -please take the time to go to go to Profile and change your name- It's really weird fragging "Franny's iPhone" and "Dad's iPad" That is all, thanks
I remember Future Cop. Or at least, I remember the demo. (Remember demos?) Another Atypical fan checking in. This is one of those moves that seems so obvious in retrospect that it's perfect. I also see they've stepped up their game on the environments. The landscapes always looked awesome in Atypical games, but the buildings tended to be dull. Now everything's all fancy-pants with cool transformation animations and everything. I'm a little torn, because the game probably looks better on the A8 in my iPad, but the flight controls will probably feel better on my iPhone.
Ok, I'm gonna get it out there... ...this game is outstanding! Seriously, if you're on the cybernetically enhanced fence, use your drone transformation to make the leap over it. This game will be talked about non-stop for months to come. I forsee ALOT of people classifying this as a pinnacle of multiplayer achievement on mobile. And people it's a $5 complete premium package. The more I play the more I'm falling in love with the spacious, and lushly populated alien world. I feel like Siri is my co-pilot too
Playing on a Mini 2. I haven't played any of the previous games so I can't compare. The graphics are fine but the frame rate is low, ~30 fps maybe, with noticeable slowdowns and dips happening randomly. The controls are awful, definitely feels like it should be played with a controller and not on a touch screen. This, combined with the low frame rate, makes for a clunky and subpar experience. The game feels like a gimped Halo with bad controls. It could probably play better with a controller but then I'd rather play Halo or something on a console.
Does this require tilt controls? I always find those methods a huge turn off for me as I just want to rest my arms- and I seem to never be able to get it so it stays 'flat'.. Can you do touch controls only?
Played the first two missions on my 5. Some lag, but my phone is on the low end of the requirements. Enjoyed it, can't wait to play more. Controls felt fine to me.
After playing for about 1.5 hour the frustration starts to build. The touch controls are okay-ish, but it's a struggle. They're good enough to finish the missions, but they're not as good as they should be. This wouldn't be a problem if the auto pilot was better. The auto pilot bumps into every rock or building on it's way, doesn't even attempt to drive past it. Also the auto pilot targets enemies who are far away too often instead of the target that's actually shooting at you.
