I have to say, that at first I was a bit worried, how will this game look like, from the guys that made those sweet air fighter games. I had these questions flying in my head: Will it be bad/clunky ? Will it be ok ? Will it be good ? Will it be great ? Will it be fun ? Well, now that I put my sticky fingers on this game, I can say relieved, that my worries were for naught. Because this game is not good, it is not even great, it is FANTASTIC - FUNTASTIC ! Graphics are top notch (looks like a console game) and the gameplay is just pure SOLID GOLD ! (ye, it is that fun) So, now I am planing on putting my wife to bed early, so I can cheat on her, with my new love, Battle Supremacy PS: Fingers crossed, so that she doesn't wake up...hihihi
You unlock the tanks by reaching higher ranks, which means that you have to rank up as you do in all other Sky Gamblers games to unlock new tanks. Each new tank is a different model. (US, russian or german at the time) Each tank has many things to upgrade, for example engine, gun, armor, radar and so on. (five levels for each module) The special upgrade points you need you also earn by playing the game successfully. At the time there is no IAP in the game.
have to say that's a bit disappointing since I thought I could use all the stuff it implys in the screenshot on multiplayer , turns out it's a tank shooting game good game tho , since my girlfriend is having fun with it shooting people
Anybody know if the Moga controller works on this? Sky Gamblers (ace squad) supports it so in thinking this might...? EDIT: Nm, re-read the description and does state supports Mfi iOS controllers
You won't find, throughout the entire archive of ios games since the dawn of the ipad/iPhone a game better than console quality than this. What's more the gameplay is superb. I wouldn't have believed it if I hadn't seen it with my own eyes. I'm using an ipad 4. I've played some of the campaign but I loved free for all as it was hunting each other down trying to gain the upper hand. This game proves that PC gaming is heading to mobile in a big way. When you can do things like this with mobile hardware imagine the hardware upgrades yet to come? Controls excellent. Graphics out of this world and the next and gameplay perfect. Content is a work in progress but the foundation is there for one of the greatest war games ever. I can see Far Cry in this. So much potential. I was hesitant to buy it but i did and it's the only game I bought this week apart from Sonic Racer. There were a lot of games this week but I only considered this as worth every cent and more. It should have been $20 not $5. You'll never ever find such quality in a PC game for less than $70 on opening day. Did I pay $5.49 for this? Its heaps better than a lot of $10-15 games.
It would not be fun sitting in a tank, when other players are flying over your spawn points with a bomber And: every additional plane means one tank less. So you would end in a air combat game. ( which I would like, lol)
Is there a german/Axis campaign/szenario as well?Or can i use a Tiger etc. just in Multiplayer games (or other game modes)? And:are the campaign battles bigger with more than 5 on 5 tanks at once (like in MP)?Would love to be part of more epic tank battles ok,one more:how many tanks are in the game?
Hi Crabman, Right now there are no Axis missions. We are working on a new campaign and half of those missions will be on the Axis side. About the tiger, there is no mission with that tank in the campaign. About bigger battles, yes, there are bigger battles but the structure is a bit different. In multiplayer players are not playing on all the map at the moment, while the campaign missions are placed on larger areas. This might give the impression tanks are actually fewer in campaign. There are 8 tanks right now each with 3 different skins. The full list of tanks is here: http://www.battlesupremacy.com/tanks.php
Why I cannot select game mode in multiplayer mode? When I click the multiplayer mode, I am assigned to a room automatically and start a game mode seems randomly?
That feature is one of those things some people love it, others hate it. The main reason is that we want to be able to balance the game modes distribution for now and perform room balancing and sorting of users on the server side. The main idea is to protect the noobs from the advanced players and also to have full rooms. Right now everyone gets mixed together because there are not a huge number of active games and also because everyone is low ranked right now. In the future the advanced multiplayer menu will be added back in some form and also the matchmaking system will be improved.
FYI, if you have an Apple TV, try playing this game mirrored to your television. It will be laggy for about 30 seconds, but after that it plays really smoothly. It seems to lag for that much time at the beginning of each new level.
So I've been reading the reviews on the App Store and a lot of people are complaining on crashing. How bad is it really? I trust you guys on these forms more than the App Store reviews.
I've been running it on an iphone 5S. It has only crashed once for me. I have only played the campaign. I haven't tried this in multiplayer yet.
I just bought this and so far I can say: I'm happy to have given these devs my 5 bucks as they've given me a game worth a ton more. I can see myself sinking plenty of time into this awesome battler. I mean c'mon, an expansive campaign plus online multiplayer, great graphics and effects, and the controls seem just right. I'm on an iPhone 4S with minimal amounts of storage yet I've had no crashing, slowdowns or even frame rate drops of any kind. Excellent. My dilemma now is which game should be GOTW this or Castle Doombad, ah, decisions, decisions. They're both great
What device do you have? Like the person above, I have a 5s and it runs flawlessly. I personally haven't had a crash. I've played both campaign and online.
