I understand your concern. But this game is not a strategy game. Even in World of Tanks you won't see lots of strategy, except you have some team players who know how to play together and have a ability to communicate. I already had thoughts about improving the single player mode in direction of a strategy game but I don't know if it is possible o realize. This game is a tank shooter, but you still can try out some strategies like sniping, peek a boo behind obstacles or flanking.
Is the iCloud sync working on this game? I read a few pages back that someone couldn't get it to work across devices.
Don't forget your App Store reviews people they need those too. It's not just tanks there are armoured jeeps too not forgetting planes and boats. The boats are a bit slow tho but overall a magnificent game some of you guys expect too much this is a great game with amazing level of destructability on a mobile device well done to guys at Atypical and no I'm not a team member.
I love strategy as well. I'd call this more of the action type. If you aren't intrigued to play in a tank in destructible environments and in large open worlds, I'd say move on. Its all real time. So you could flank an enemy. You do want to take some cover. I would also say it isn't arcady in that there isn't any nitrous boost or power ups to pick up. It's just you and the tank you choose with AI in other tanks. I'm personally having a blast playing. Some cool things about the game. When you get shot up, some of your systems start to fail like your gun or engine; leaving you immobile until they're repaired. The maps are quite large. The campaign takes you on several missions, some being in an airplane and some in a ship. Upgradable tanks. Overall a very polished game. It could use some refinements but I'm glad I bought it.
iCloud takes it's time to decide to sync. There is a way to stimulate it though. On the device where you want the progress to be transferred open Settings -> iCloud -> Storage & Backup -> Manage Storage. Accessing this usually forces iCloud to refresh its data. In here you should have an entry called Battle Supremacy. Another way to fully force an iCloud sync is to log out from the device and log back in, it should download everything then. Anyway before all this make sure that the device with the progress has the Battle Supremacy entry in the iCloud list.
I have some more suggestions Andrei, 1. Change the plane controls to be like in SGAS and SGSR, they felt much better 2. Maybe speed up the tank speed ONLY in campaign... 3. Sometimes In multiplayer and campaign, I would hit someone and their health woundnt go down, and I was very close to them, so it was not a miss. Awesome game! GG earlier today!
I don't actually use iCloud so when I check manage storage there are no apps but sometimes games still sync my progress across devices, how can this be?
I have just done free roaming in the first island and I've changed to a plane. As someone said before: press on the map and then on one of the planes which fly by. You'll change to it instantly.
I think it's worth mentioning that you can only use planes and boats in the single-player game, multi-player is tanks only currently.
Is each new tank supposed to be upgraded version of the previous? I'm having a hard time understanding it's stats since it's not mentioned in help.
There are planes, boats, jeeps and tanks in the missions and in the single player free roam game. In the free roam you tap on the radar and you will get the map. Then you can tap/chose jeeps, tanks and planes which you see on the map to change from one to another. In the online multiplayer you only will find tanks.
