Graphics are amazing, but the game just looks so boring to play. I mean, it's not like controlling tanks allow for very engaging gameplay. :/
hello , congratz on this game finally gets released !! i am a big fans of u guys and i bought all the OSX version of your games , love em being supporting OSX game center ( sky gambler ) will Battle Supremacy make their way to OSX like your previous games ? WOW , i cant wait to fight on my mac ! and my girlfriend love to gaming on her macbook air , lol
Wondering how well this works on a 4s if anyone has tried? I know it says it works on it just wondering if it's slower or what the graphics look like?
During free roam click the radar to get to the overview map then search for a vehicle (round icon with tank/jeep/plane/boat symbol) and click it. It should switch control. The zoomed controls feel laggy because you're moving the whole turret. It has inertia and a slow turning speed , much slower than a typical FPS game. It takes a little to get used to it but then you'll like it as it allows for very precise shots.
Your initial tank is a bit slow but a couple of missions allows you to speed it up etc. People would moan if the tanks were all super quick saying it wasnt realistic ! Some games out there are realistic, some more arcadey (which you seem to prefer). I mean iOS is great as theres games for all types, if you love World War II style of games this is brilliant.
Good graphics and great strategy mix well. How good is the strategic part. I mean can you use tactics and strategy or is it just all guns blazing demolition stuff??? I love strategy -to be able to outsmart my enemy. Is there any of that?
Yes, it is coming soon to OSX - and of course even better looking. The controls are better too - that's an issue right now as we want to have cross platform multiplayer (same GameCenter account), but we don't want OSX users to have an advantage...we'll see. Maybe we'll manage this from the matchmaking system.
That's my concern. I wonder how linear it is and if you can use strategies or it's just a bombing fest?? I would want to hide and sneak and make surprise attacks but not play just to a script. That would be very boring. Multiplayer would fix that but I wonder if the single player is strategic or just a follow me type campaign.
I would say kinda, i had a skirmish with the computer, most of the tanks went straight ahead to the enemy, i did a big semi-circle and got round the back of the enemy tanks and took out a few of them. Other times i've camped on a hill so i can then attack them from the side Looking forward to getting a faster tank i must admit !
I would say crazy good, you can tell from the video how much detail there is Just tested the game on my iphone 4s, runs really well
Almost battlefield on iOS.... Had a quick play with iPad air, runs v v v well graphics are v good too
Thanks for your response and the tip on recentering the turret. I appreciate that team balancing will improve as time goes on. There appears to be an issue with the camera and autoaim. For example, my turret might be focused toward my front. An enemy shows up on the right and the autoaim moves my camera (all fine). Then the enemy drops out of view and the camera whips back again. It can make for very jerky targetting. Id recommend only ever auto-moving the turret when an enemy is sighted, and not re-auto moving the turret if an enemy goes away. Given how slow the tanks are, I would suggest tweaking the spawn system to spawn a little closer to the action (but not in an enemy's sights), at least for death match where relative position is not as great a concern as is getting back into the action. Doing the first campaign mission addressed some of my issues. I would suggest stripping that out of the campaign and making it a separate tutorial button, as I went straight to multiplayer the first time around and would not have tried campaign without knowing about the tutorial. Despite my issues I think this is a great game and that anyone who is remotely interested should give it a try. (Suggestions on which camera angle works best would be appreciated)
Guess i'll give it a try later. But i would love to see bigger than 5 vs 5 matches for more epic battles. And a North Africa campaign as IAP!!!
The framerate drops dramatically sometimes on my Ipad air. And why are there no different modes in multiplayer? And why are there no planes in multiplayer...??? This game would be perfect with infantry
This game is hard, I turn into a sitting duck trying to shoot one tank. I feel tank is to slow to avoid other fire when shooting, especially when there's 4 tanks coming your way. Any tips?
The detail is nice, but during FREE flight I noticed massive pop-in on an iphone 5s. I would give up some of the fish and butterflies for more draw distance. Turrets don't turn for Jeeps/halftracks and you have to shoot the direction you're driving. Needs slider adjustment for sensitivity.
