In multiplayer.. Do you choose your side and choose a starter tank... And then unlock bigger/better tanks using points (Xp) ?
Played the first 2 missions so far and i cant find anything bad to say about this game. Real deal man... Get this game. Oh, i have one thing to say... I wish it were sharper on retina... Is it just me or is it not retina ready?
This is so *not* my kind of game, but boy does the trailer look impressive! Might get it anyway, if only as a showpiece for my Air 128GB ;-)
Insta buy. I have an iPad Air and iphone 5 and will post my thoughts as soon as I play far enough to actually be able to make comments on alot of the basic questions on here. This game may make waiting for Baldur's Gate 2 a non issue.
Im not so convinced on this... During gameplay the edges of tanks and the backgrounds look jagged. Im on the ipad air 128gb. Even so, the game looks great still.
Thanks for the early impressions. That's encouraging. Tanks? Destructible environments? Trains? Moose? (Or is it meese?) I'm all over this one tonight!
I'm assuming a similar experience to sky gamblers game play. Just curious, is there any tactical/strategic play? Or more an arcade deal?
You can do some tactical maneuvers like flanking the enemies so you can get first free shots on them before they can turn around to fight you, and you can use buildings, slopes and other obstacles as cover while reloading or positioning yourself for a clear shot, but overall, it's an action game. I wouldnt call the pacing arcade-y in this one at all, although i cant say the same for Sky Gamblers.
Looks great on the iPad Air, but im not convinced all the assets are retina. Some are, but from what i see some arent. I didnt answer your question directly, but im saying there is a possibility it wont be fully retina on the 5S as well.
