Believe it or not there are four Sky Gamblers games, all of which, I believe have had IAPs. But they aren't essential by any means. In those games, a lot of the planes could be unlocked via gameplay, although I think there are some that are IAP only. I've always enjoyed those games and never felt compelled to buy an IAP.
Woah. Thanks for the info. Mixing up vehicles also sounds like a big plus for this one. Looks like a buy! And there goes my New Year's resolution to try to actually play my backlog and reign in my spending
Well haven't played enough yet, but I am pretty sure you can in the campaign mode. I just played the online mode and it was very fun, a bit slow, but very fun.
Would love if any early adopter describe us the single player modes. Their other games except the campaign always had a lot of modes including free flight etc.
Single-player has: - campaign - free for all - king of the hill - capture the base - team deathmatch - free roam
In this first version there are no IAP. Regarding IAP, the general rule we are trying to work by is that to deliver DLC content, not consumable IAPs. Developing a new campaign or new tanks requires a lot of time and money and that's reasonable to charge for. Bottom line we are not tempted by freemium practices but extra content for money is a feasible practice used by a lot of AAA games and we'll probably have this in the future for Battle Supremacy.
Well if you ever bought any of their previous games, this one is very similar, single mode campaign is very well done and you won't feel bored at all. You can play both Allies and Axis, many different maps (very beautiful and well done) and the pace of the game is pretty good too, even tho tanks are slow, it feels right! reminds me a lot of Battlefield 1943 on PS3! The online mode is very well done too, there were nearly no waiting time as there are already enough players online.
Well you are absolutely right, and I see nothing wrong in asking people to pay if they want extra campaign and tanks. I really hope that in the near future, you could add airplanes and other vehicles to the online mode, that would be perfect and it would just feel like battlefield 1943!
Wish they would add infantry combat too... That would totally kill the modern combat franchise. Not that I hate mc...just tired of the same old cod clone.
Looks and sounds great, anyone know if multiplayer has all of those single player modes with kind of the hill and tdm ect? Also wondering how well it'll run on a 4s? Still a few months till I can upgrade sadly.
Multiplayer has all the singleplayer game modes (except for campaign ) Yes, it runs on 4S quite good.
That sounds perfect !!! I'm so impressed by that video, keep thinking it'll be some crazy 2 gig filesize or that but it looks so good. Roll on midnight. Yep i totally agree, i hate consumable IAP's but as you say new campaigns/tanks cost money. Its depressing when people think they should get updates forever for their 1 dollar ! Really enjoyed the earlier games but this looks perfect
It runs on iPhone 4 but the graphics quality is reduced to keep the FPS at a reasonable figure You won't have the nice grass, fish in the water and so on, but the gameplay remains the same, no changes.
